The food was very yummy. I have come over on holiday from Australia and the service from one of the ladies working was appalling. She was extremely rude to my child who was walking around. One of the most unwelcoming ladies I have met on my first time in the UK!

Absolutely stuffed. The breakfast is great quality, and the marmalade is to die for.

Very busy at lunch time. Noise levels quite high.

Visited on a Saturday at 11am with my partner, it wasn’t overly busy and we opted to have a traditional breakfast with a cup of tea. Our order was taken quickly. We then waited 10 minutes for our drinks which wasn’t unreasonable however we then sat for 40 minutes waiting for our meals. When my partner got up to ask if the food was on its way, the waitress saw him and tried to walk away…..a limp apology for delay was given but no explanation or offer to refresh our drinks (tea was cold as we were waiting for meal). When the meal actually arrived the waitress apologised and told us the sausage had taken a while to cook!!? (The menu did not state there was sausage on the breakfast). The meal was not worth the wait, eggs were tasteless, beans were barely warm, bacon a little over done. My partner did not eat the sausage because he doesn’t like them and didn’t order it in the first place. I had high hopes for a lovely brunch in a cosy cafe but this was not it.

Visited this coffee house on Wednesday lunchtime. We sat out the back, I didn’t even realise that area was there. There was a gorgeous fire in the middle throwing out a lot of heat. Ladies serving were very friendly. We both had the soup and sandwich deal. The homemade soup was cauliflower cheese and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. For a treat, we both had cake, my friend had avocado and courgette I think, I had a caramel shortbread, very tasty. We drank tea and cappuccino and the total bill was about £25, which was reasonable for what we had. Will visit again when I am in Whitchurch.

This is a little gem. The girls serving are really on the ball. The food is high quality. Just an excellent place to eat and chill.
