Visit this store regularly and a particular member of staff named Karen literally takes the name to the full meaning of Karen. A face like shes sucking a lemon everytime service without a smile and rudeness. Really lets down this store massively
Had an issue with an uber eats order wherr the driver mixed up my order and one of the staff members at the co op ( I'm pretty sure his name is Bobby ) went above and beyond to help resolve the issue for me! Brilliant customer service!!
To many staff stock taking and replenishing shelves than staff on the tills. I was stood waiting 15 mins to get served whilst a customer did an entire week's shop and loaded up all their utility cards etc, there was one staff member on the till but 2 on the shop floor doing stock it's ridiculous, it's meant to be a convenience store. Waiting 15 mins to get served at the till is in no way convenient, this is common occurrence at this store. Also the lady that was manning the till was incredibly slow and too busy chatting. Fine chat with the locals but do it when it's quiet not when you have 6 plus people waiting to get served!
Staff are always courteous and helpful. It's my local shop so it's a few minutes' walk and they know me, so if I forget my wallet they'll happily leave the shopping behind the counter. Also, if and when things get to counting the pennies and bagging them up into the plastic bank bags, they don't mind that either. All in all; helpful; courteous; clean shop floors (so there are no potential slip, trip or skid hazards), and patient!

Never before have I been served by such polite and helpful staff! Everytime I have shopped there, which has been a couple of times a week for the last year or so, the staff have been like nowhere else!
Hi, I am a loyal customer at this co-op, i've been going for the last 7 years of my life and they also sponsored my uncle Simon's football team(BVR). Simon and I walked in the stop which we knew like the back of our hands, we went down to the soup section of the store, and we were approached by a new worker who I have never seen before with the name badge labeled 'Harry'. Then the worker 'Harry' who i would describe as a 6 foot 3 thug with a perm of a haircut which my uncle Simon described as a 'dusty trim'. Harry then KO'ed me with his 'Hayemaker' and then moved to Jamaica with my uncle Simon where they raised 3 ugly kids called Thomas, Grampy and Big G. I've not seen my uncle Simon since 2012 since the Olympics.
This excuse for a co-op is a shambles to the core. They are the highest priced place in the whole town of Congelton and is embarrassing that we have let these set up shop here. All of the staff are as useful as belly button lint just irritating and follow you round. There is a male who smells of tripe and sounds like Micheal Owen who is very passionate about his line of work and is a credit to the company but the freakish with the perm just stumbles around dropping items. He nearly someone by dropping a bottle of pop on their head
The cooperative.... let me tell you a story my fine sir/ ma'm. One sure fine morning i jumped out of my resting place and slipped on my bright white socks...knowing it would be a beautiful day, however.... Was wrong.... very wrong... the usual stroll towards my local cooperative was disturbed by a youngsum individual with a foul mouth and disgusting attitude. This individual (please name and shame) Harry Cheadle
