No option to leave no stars, because this is what i would like to leave. Went to this shop yesterday, the lady was stood outside smoking. I have no idea of the opening hours for this shop, so did not realise it was close to closing time and as the shop assistant was stood outside smoking there was no indication the shop was about to close. My husband was chatting to someone outside, i asked him to follow me in when he finished talking, to pay for the shopping as i had no money. I choose my 2 items and went to pay, my husband entered the open shop door closed it behind him, at this point the shop assistant rushed up to him shouting in his face " we're closed" I said he just needs to pay for my items, but she was extremely rude and would not let him enter. Having no money i put my items back, i said to the lady "that's lovely customer service". I left the shop and she screamed behind me "yes it is when we are open 14 hours a f&%king day". Before slamming and locking the door. Don't know what her issue is but i really do not expect to be sworn at for no apparent reason. On getting back into my car i notice it was actually 3 mins to 9pm and not past 9pm as she was insisting it was. Really don't know what her issue is but maybe she needs some anger management/ customer service training.
Staff member had the cheek to call me "rude" when I had to say "Hello" on 2 occasions to get her to serve first me and then my mother. She had her head buried in the corner behind the counter with her back to the customers as I went to pay and never looked up. She went straight back there after serving me, ignoring the fact that my Mum was also waiting to be served. Hopefully they have cctv and can see what happened. She had also completely ignored us when we said "Hello" as we walked in. I had no idea saying "Hello" was considered so rude in Mossley.
