I don't normally shop at Morrisons, but I knew they had Trex, which I can't get at my usual shop. I also phoned a friend to get one for them. I'm gluten free and found some new and interesting items. And old favourites. Helpful staff and not a long wait at the till, I'll be going again.

Took my kids for lunch today, they both had Fish and Chips, and I had the Festive Toastie. After paying at the self-service, we went to get the two fizzy drinks from the dispenser we purchased. We couldn't find the paper cups, and the lady that was behind the till watching us looking for them, waited for a while before telling us she'd get them from behind the counter with some attitude behind her tone. After finding a table that wasn't sticky, while we were talking and playing some Christmas games, we heard the same lady from behind the till, bellow across the restaurant, asking if the people's table she was stood at, had left their plates for the staff to clean up. She clearly wasn't happy about it and her attitude and volume increased after our previous encounter. Everybody around us turned and muttered at her behaviour. Servers who were walking back and forth from the kitchen persistently stood at the kitchen hatch, shouting order numbers across the restaurant. Our food arrived, and the two fish and chips orders were incorrect and what was put in front of me wasn't what I expected, albeit correct. I asked for the other two orders to be corrected, and the server snatched the pots away and didn't respond at any point after this even when she returned with the correct items. The kids were ok with their food, the little one said it didn't taste nice, and my older child said there was no taste to it. Mine, the festive sub, tasted like it looked, vile, sloppy and the bread had clearly been done in a double-sided hotplate that had been left on too long, very dark brown almost turned black. We ate what was in front of us and I continued to distract my kids and in particularly my little one, from this mouthy staff member, who made my little one uncomfortable when she was walking around us. Poor quality ingredients, poor food prep and presentation, staff have a very poor attitude and the two members aforementioned, need to know that their self-importance and ignorance does not outweigh the customers they are meant to serve. The mouthy lady in white walked around the entire time we were there (and I watch intently), making herself look busy and wasn't. It is not unusual to expect staff who work within a restaurant/cafe to clear and clean tables, especially when some of them clearly don't do much anyway. At the very least, she should want to help her colleagues out who were back and forth from the kitchen bringing people's orders constantly, instead she called a young lad from the kitchen to clear it after her shouting and moaning about it. She and the lady that served us, happened across each other as they were walking around, stopped to talk and they thought they were talking with hushed enough tones so no-one could hear, I heard it all very clearly, slagging people off. I don't know the ladies name, but the mouthy lady working on the till, was the only one wearing white uniform and hat outside the kitchen, as the other staff were wearing claret aprons or grey polo t-shirt uniform, I suspect she must be a supervisor. If so, this makes it all the worse. Regarding the servers shouting order numbers across the restaurant, the people the food was meant for, I could see they had hearing aids in. Is there no consideration for people who are either hard of hearing or deaf. No matter the level of shouting, they are not going to hear you. It always surprises me that people that take jobs that their main core of work is in public facing roles, hospitality, are completely inept of communicating properly to and conduct themselves correctly around customers, and careless as much as preparing nice looking tasty food. Even the most budget limiting food produce can be carefully created to do those things. I have personal experience of this for many years. I instructed my kids to tidy their cutlery and plates on the table we were sat at but did leave everything at the table, I don't and will not pay for a service and be expected to do the workers jobs. I recommend a role less in the public eye, or ear, for these people ie the warehouse.

A lots of the nicer own brand ranges have been discontinued (the best steak, and chicken pies etc) cafe menu greatly. The whole fresh refrigerated area stank of hydrogen sulphide gas last time I visited. Ken Morrison would turn in his grave.

Twice this month I've been to the deli counter and been completely ignored by the same woman serving. I wasn't the only one to walk away. Will try one more time and if I'm ignored that will be the last time

I like Morrisons in general but their bakery items have gone extremely downhill. Having enjoyed their own sausage rolls and doughnuts for many years the last three occasions now they've been put in the bin. The sausage rolls are very dried out and the doughnuts are I'm sorry to say, disgusting. I'm not sure who bakes these but they need to test them. Horrible, slimy texture and really yeasty smell and taste. Jam tastes cheap and overall just horrible and I'm not fussy (being a doughnut and sausage roll eater as you can tell). This will be the last time we buy them. A shame but I can't afford to put food in the bin, they were that bad.

Fairly good range, good bakery, not very good for gluten free food. Prices have been high recently, but getting back on track now. I shop mainly at Aldi where gluten free for my wife is poor.

What a lovely out-of-town supermarket! Huge car park. Very spacious shop, wide aisles, high ceilings, not too noisy. Great range of foods, especially ready to eat healthy snacks, such as pick-and-mix salads. A great alternative to Tesco's for an occasional shop, but I suspect Tesco is a bit cheaper. I'll take notes next time.

I've been coming to morrisons as a child and now an adult. The cafe has failed miserably. It's really gone down hill. Service is extremely slow amd not enough staff out front, tables full of empty plates and trays. Food has gone down hill also. I ordered a child's breakfast and the toast was literally a crust that comes from around the bread. He had a tea spoon of scrambled egg which was like rubber. My husband had a breakfast also and his toast was burnt and egg undercooked. The next time we came they were so behind on orders that they closed the kitchen and staff from supermarket came to help clear tables. Whilst the managers sat chatting. The food is bad and the service is no better. They need to get a good team behind them to turn things around

Empty shelves, Shelves not being restocked Big Containers in the Isle full of food with not enough workers to stock the shelves. Some prices have more than doubled in the last few months. Out of date products are spotted on shelves. Big queues at checkouts. This store was excellent, it has gone downhill over the last couple of years with not enough staff and poor management.

Sadly this Morrisons is well below par of many I have been too, Bakery is hit and miss of what's available, meat selection is far less than others and very often special offers are displayed wrong. Today the freezer counters where misty so unable to see anything, also suggesting they where off overnight so what's the condition of the food? I like Morrisons but the Shrewsbury branch needs a serious upgrade.
