Asleep at the wheel administration operation. Can somebody with a brain actually sort out the daft messages you lot send out by sms that just confuse people. For a start your messages come from ' Kind regards' ! You also send out daft unsolicited messages that just confuse people. Make sense in plain English fgs.
I have cancer, a carcinoma. 6/7 doctors I saw at the De Parys Medical Center in 2025 did not even investigate the lump I presented. I had to compel the last doctor I saw here to even palpate the lump. He was also stoned further corroding any faith I have in the so called professionals here. All doctors have refused admission for a biopsy to investigate the cancerous lump. All doctors I saw were unaware that carcinomas do not show up in blood tests and were extremely dismissive. Complaining leads nowhere because they just defer you to the circle integrated care group who are adamant that they relevant departments do not exist and drop any complaints you make. I maybe under some misconceptions but you cannot make an appointment at the front desk anymore, it has to be an emergency appointment or you have to procure one through 111. NHS patients who have cancer are just expected to go away and die quietly. Haven spoken to other patients who shared a similar experience to my own, I decided to write this review hoping it can save people valuable time to procure treatment elsewhere. The doctors here are unable to help you if you're sick and in most cases they make you feel like a burden for asking. If you want to survive or feel better, AVOID this place like the plague.
The worst Gp surgery in Bedford. The staff are not cooperating and lack of medical knowledge. especially the doctors. I am very happy that I changed them and left. if there is less than star I would be very happy to give even minus.
Would not accuse this place of being a medical centre! More like excuse for legitimised Negligence! Can turn away an 87yr old, already has a cardiac condition, new symptoms! Gets told to go fill in form and ‘we will decide IF a Dr can see you!
Ive been here twice in the last 12 months. One doctor said the NHS don't cover the surgery I needed, and told me to look on Google for advice! I was also declined an appointment and asked to go to A&E for a pulled muscle in my chest. Dreadful surgery with very poor staff
If I could give zero stars for these jokers I would, Goldington Road surgery was one of the best doctors surgeries around, until they changed to The De Parys Group, that coupled with convid it is now one of the worst surgeries about!!! I needed an epi-pen as I have had anaphalctic shock a couple of times, so they sent a prescription to the chemist and said they would contact me for an appointment on how to use it. A month later, I got a letter to say to call the surgery for an appointment, I was 30 odd in the queue, spent 2 hours waiting on the phone to be offered an appointment SIX WEEKS AWAY!!! Just had to pray that I didnt go into anaphalctic shock in that time!!! The night before I got a text saying "Due to unforseen circumstances they had to cancel my appointment" So I had to go on to youtube to find out how to use my epi-pen in case I needed to use it!!!!! Absoloutly disgusting!!! You truly couldnt make rubbish this up!!! Convid is long gone now, so what is their excuse to still not be making appointments and avoiding seeing patients!!! I will be looking to change my doctors if I can, as the De Parys Group is beyond ridiculous!!!
Poor. Good luck getting through. I have waited over 20 minutes on occasion. Non medical staff gave me totally wrong advice. They have little idea. They just want you off the phone and treat you as an annoyance not a patient. That's the NHS! Ridiculous web site too. What happened with speaking to someone instead of this press 1 for this 2 for that nonsense. Why should they even care about reviews and feedback? They get their money from the government, not from you and I. So it will never improve.
I am new to this surgery however I have been in need of medical care numerous times because of my young children. I have received fantastic service from here. From the reception staff to the doctor and the pharmacist..
They offer same day appointment bookings only and the slots go quickly in the morning. Booking in advance is not available. After two phone calls I have decided to move on to another GP.
Awful awful awful. Recently had a biopsy as you can imagine I’m agonising awaiting my results as I’ve recently had a baby.I was informed by text the results were in, however the receptionist informed that I will have to wait 4 weeks for a telephone appointment. Absolutely Disgusting treatment.
