We used Blodau Florist Skewen for our family flowers at our beloved Dad's funeral. The flowers were so beautiful and the staff were exceptionally professional and made the process stress free . They were so kind and caring during our time of sadness.
On Tuesday, I placed and paid in full (£155) for a bouquet having selected a specific image on the Interflora website to represent the arrangement I wanted. When I collected the bouquet, I was shocked to find it bore little resemblance to the image I had ordered from both in the type and quantity of flowers. The arrangement was sparse and lacked the fullness shown in the photo. Worse still, the bouquet contained visibly dead roses. When I pointed this out, the florist initially claimed, “that’s just the colour of the roses.” However, I noted that the browning on the petals was a clear sign they were no longer fresh. Only then did she replace all the roses in the bouquet, an action which confirmed that my concern was indeed valid. After receiving no reply to my initial complaint email, I attempted to follow up with the shop directly. During the call, I was met with an aggressive and dismissive tone from the owner. He told me he “couldn’t care less” about my review or complaint I explained I intended to make and sarcastically offered to provide Interflora’s number when I said I would be escalating the comp laint. He proceeded to interrupt me repeatedly and accused me of lying about the original state of the flowers. When I asked why the roses were replaced if there was nothing wrong with them, he had no response and offered no apology whatsoever. His arrogant tone, lack of accountability, and complete absence of basic customer service were shocking. The interaction left me genuinely upset. Following this call, I received a message offering a refund, which unfortunately is no longer practical, as the bouquet had already been given to the intended recipient. I also submitted comparison images clearly showing the stark difference between what I ordered and what I received. Despite this, no acknowledgment or apology was offered. The bouquet not only failed to meet the advertised standard but the overall experience was completely unacceptable.

We had beautiful flowers made for our wedding (wrist corsages and gents corsages). We had no set idea of what we wanted so aside from a rough idea of colours we left the choice to Alison who did an amazing job. They were delivered to us and beautifully packaged and sealed and still looked fresh and beautiful the next day. Thank you so much x
