This review is about the shop on Pillory Street in Nantwich. Strange selling practices. I wanted to buy a gift bag for 6x small bottles of wine apparently not sold separately unless you buy 6x bottles of beer , despite the fact that the bag had a price on and there was no sign suggesting it couldn’t be bought on its own. Suspicious trading practices that are probably in breach of trading standards. Even if I buy £50 worth of wine I still can’t buy the gift bag? The guy said it’s because they don’t want to run out of the gift bags but they had loads and will probably still have some left after Christmas. We all know it’s about maximising each transaction. I wanted to shop local to support small businesses , but once again, I’ll have to search online. Annoyed. The shop has also lost any future business from myself. They probably don’t care, but what a stupid decision not sell me a £6.50 gift bag. I would have spent far more on wine. My Money wasn’t good enough.
