Great local shop, lots of stuff, very easy to do both Amazon and Royal Mail returns, helpful staff. I have seen some clientele be quite rude to the staff s few times and they still remain calm and polite, so hats off to them.

I will second one of the reviews that another person wrote on here about how the parcel handling experience by the staff was for her. My experience was arguably worse than the lady's but completely in line with what the she wrote. I came to collect 2 parcels from the store that where delivered to them by Royal Mail (both marked as delivered at the same time on the Royal Mail website) however they were for some reason not marked as ready for collection on eBay (I assume that is because when a parcel gets delivered to the pick up point they have to type the code there and mark it as ready for collection so it shows on eBay). When I approached the till and explained that I'm here to collect and showed the details of the delivery the shop assistant went away for a second and came back saying that there are no parcels that were delivered here for me. I persisted and showed him the Royal Mail tracking website and the section on eBay where it also states it was delivered (it just was not marked by them as ready for collection). He insisted that if eBay does not show ready for collection it was not delivered there. I insisted further so he went again and came back with one of my parcels. I explained again that there are 2 parcels for collection that have been delivered there but the assistant progressively became more unpleasant and without checking flat out stated they do not have my parcel. The whole interaction did not seem right to me - from his insistence that nothing got delivered in the first place, to bringing out one parcel after I pressed and then becoming hostile as I was trying to ask him to look for the 2nd one. At that point I was getting upset and the manager approached. He was immediately very hostile and aggressive. Things escalated even more from here. The whole situation was very concerning starting from the fact they where claiming nothing got delivered, leading to the extremely aggressive staff behaviour. I got upset but that only made the staff more aggressive to a point of the "manager" literally threatening me and cursing me out. This review is getting really long now so I would just like to urge everyone to be careful with getting their parcels delivered to their store as either they are completely not interested in looking for the parcels or booking them in properly and they might become extremely hostile if you ask them to do their job or what is more worrying, it might be a case that they are not scanning the parcels properly after receiving them on purpose and then knowingly tell the customer they do not have them (which going by how my situation transpired I would say might be possible). I do not even know how to stress how bad this is and on so many levels. I presume there might of been more people that had a similar kind of experience with them but got intimidated by the staff and let it go. I think it would be good if someone looked into what is really happening with the staff in that store.

- Refused to take an Amazon return despite them being registered with Amazon as a shop that will package and return your items via them. They tried to make me pick which item I wanted to send as it was a two item return (authorised by Amazon and Amazon are now investigating as one QR code covers both items and both items could have gone in the same packet as per Amazon customer services own words.) I chose to leave as I don’t like any form of confrontation and the “manager” is huge and intimidating and seems confrontational. - I also purchased some Biscolata stix for my child and they were so smashed up they’re like powder so that was money wasted. I used to like this store but I haven’t been in a while and won’t be returning before I get a reply telling me not to return.
