Awful condescending attitude from staff at the Carmarthen branch pharmacy over the re-booking of a previously cancelled flu jab that was made available online. Turns out the re-booked appointment wasnβt available either due to lack of stock, however this wasnβt communicated via the cancellation text, though staff said this should have been assumed! The tutting that ensued, together with the disrespect and lack of any customer service was staggering.

Gentleman in the pharmacy embarrassingly rude. I don't need smiles from a person serving me, or even for them to be particularly nice (I get it, I worked in retail before healthcare). Basic manners and to be treated like a human would have sufficed.

We visited your store twice today as we needed advice from the pharmacist. As there was a queue for the pharmacy on our first visit we decided to call back to later. We arrived back and happily there was no queue, however when we spoke to an employee behind the desk, she said we needed to wait as the pharmacist was currently with someone and there was another lady waiting to be seen. My husband joined the queue and waited. Eventually the lady still waiting to seen became frustrated, she had been waiting some time, she asked a member of staff to check to see how long the pharmacist was likely to be. The member of staff went to find out, the pharmacist could not be found, so it ended up both the lady waiting and my husband giving up and leaving the store. This is a huge waste of people's time. There needs to be a system in place that makes it clear to the customer where they are in the queue for the pharmacist and approximately how long before their turn. The pharmacist also needs to be aware that people are waiting to be seen. There is no point people visiting their pharmacist if they have to hang around for ages, and not know how long its goung to take, they might as well book to see their GP, call 111 or go to A&E. It's promoted that we should speak to the pharmacist first, but unless it's more organised it frustrating failure.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Today I got accused of shoplifting in store. The woman that approached me accused me in front of other customers behind me and I was so embarrassed and quite upset. I told her I opened a box to see if the cable would fit my phone and it did, so went to pay for it, but then accused me of having other products, which I was thinking about, but put them back as I no longer wanted them. She walked off without saying sorry or anything. Totally unprofessional and certainly wonβt be shopping in Boots again. I have asked to close my membership down.

The lady of the Clinique counter was brilliant. Sorry I didn't get her name. Short grey hair. I've been to so many places to find the right colour foundation and she got it first time.

You always have to wait ages to be served at this store, even when it's not busy. All the staff work in the dispensary and non to serve customers. Collection of internet orders is very disorganised, no-one knows where they are!

Staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful. I asked a few questions and they were able to help me find the right product, which had been working a treat !!!

Tried to ring Carmarthen Boots to speak to a pharmacist about covi/flu but tried several times and no luck. We are advised to check with pharmacists to save gp appts. but how can you if you can't get through on the phone.
