The Brixworth Clinic has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Kate is very professional, knowledgeable and quick to put people at their ease. She has worked wonders easing my back pain and would highly recommend her Clinic.
I have been going to Brixworth Osteopaths for years. I have seen Gordon, Elizabeth and Kate and they are all excellent professionals. They are all friendly, considerate, very informative and give great advice and treatment. They all take an holistic point of view, and have a great balance between manipulative techniques and more subtle techniques. I have nothing but praise for this practice, they provide excellent treatment, loads of good suggestions for equipment and exercises for muscle strength, posture and flexibility as well as great motivation. Osteopaths are just for backs they can help with so much more!
My husband tried a physio and chiropractic without success. The GP is of little help, so I suggested he should go to an osteopath because he has arthritis in his neck and shoulders, he gets migraines and has sore knees. He has now seen Elizabeth 3 times and I accompanied him. Elizabeth has a lot of knowledge, she's honest, good at her job, kind and has a good sense of humour. She really listened to my husbands health challenges and asked his permission before doing any of the osteopathy moves. She certainly loosened up my husbands restrictions and offered advice and exercises. After the treatment my husband felt that work had certainly been done and he was sore, but this is to be expected because it proves that the areas effected with restrictions have been successfully worked on and the body has found a new equilibrium. In my opinion Osteopaths are far more effective than Chiropractors. To compare, Chiropractors charge a fortune for long term weeky and monthly treatment that doesn't seem to yield results like osteopathy does. Whareas with osteopaths you may need 1 appointment a week for 2 or 3 weeks and that may sort a recent issue out, but for long term problems, you may after then need to be seen once every 3 weeks for a little while. In answer to the one star review on here, of course you'll feel uncomfortable for a day or two and may get a headache, but you'll feel looser and freer than before. If you have an operation or any procedure you'll of course be sore, the same is with osteopathy. I highly recommend you try this osteopath, but steer clear from expensive chiropractors, try osteopaths first.
Elizabeth at the Brixworth Osteopathic Clinic was recommended to me by a friend. I have visited her twice now to receive help with pelvic pain and sciatica in my pregnancy, and oh my goodness, she is incredible! I highly recommend this service, all the staff I have spoken to have been polite and extremely helpful. I will definitely be returning.
I’ve seen Elizabeth a few times now for lower back pain, and I’m very pleased with the results. She is extremely thorough, clearly very knowledgeable, and very friendly, which puts you at ease. Thanks to her care, I’m currently pain-free. Highly recommended.

Went for information/help with my shoulder. I was subjected to a neck crack procedure, without prior information or consent. My neck was completely fine before the appointment and now it feels like my neck/spine is out of alignment, i also have a headache. I really hope there is no permanent damage! Avoid at all costs!
