I HAVE been critical of this surgery in the past, and some of it, IMO, has been deserved !! I filled out an online form to tell them about some pains down below, and they offered me an appointment to see a consultant at 9 am this morning, which I have just attended !! Perhaps this NEW system of informing the surgery on-line may not be that good for those who do NOT have the internet, but perhaps it will give the surgery a better opportunity to manage the resources they DO have !! I think you will always get those patients who telephone the surgery with the most minor of ailments !!

I recently had an issue which was treated with concern and I am very grateful for the care shown by reception staff and Dr Bains. Working in healthcare myself, I understand the pressures and can honestly say the speed at which I was referred and ultimately had my fears resolved, was such a relief. Thank you so much.

I'm so exhausted with this GP. I've been trying to get onto the NHS app since I've had an address and name change but the app directs me to talk to the GP but the GP have done absolutely nothing to help. Every appointment they offer me for anything seems to be early in the morning which I struggle to attend. I've been waiting on someone to contact back about a shared care agreement, birth control AND a continuing UTI that I've been contacting them for WEEKS about. I'm so tired, I'm in so much pain. Just go anywhere else, honestly. I'm sick and tired.

I have found that if treated with patience and politeness the staff do their utmost to help and accommodate your concerns. The NHS is creaking and all of us experience difficulty with getting through and getting appointments. I can only say that when it has been important they have found a way to fit me in, and am very grateful for all the attention I have received, and find the staff helpful and obliging. Treat them with respect and you will receive the sameβ¦.

This use to be a good little doctors surgery but has gone down dramatically over the years, can never seem to get through to the receptionist and pretty much impossible to get an appointment. I also can find some of the staff very rude especially the receptionists as if they havenβt got a care in the world about the job theyβre doing anymore. Itβs quite sad to see them go down hill so much as this has been my doctors surgery since I was a baby

Been with this doctors for 40+ years. It used to be ok but has gone badly downhill in recent years. Staff are unhelpful, rude and obstructive. Getting an appointment is virtually impossible. They don't do pre booked appointments, you have to call at 8.30 am and end up in a massive queue only to be eventually told there are no more appointments! It's truly ridiculous and I resent contributing tax to such a badly run operation. Save yourself the time and go to accident and emergency.

Absolutely appalling service in every respect! Far too many patients on their books to cope with, far too much attitude on the phone when priority should be to try to assist. It is not the patient or patients relatives fault that the NHS is overstretched and under paid, so please be mindful of this when dishing out the contemp you show on the phone!

Had the most terrible and frustating experience today! Called this surgery to ask for an appointment and told to call back at 830. Here comes 8.30, the phone was ringing up until 8.40 but no one is answering so i hanged up and called again. In the beginning of the call, a robot will tell you to press 1 to be on the queue and just wait for them to call you. We have waited the whole day! but nobody call us,.. then called at 16.50 to check if when will we get a call, a very rude receptionist says that we do not have your son do not have an appointment! So I explained that I have called at 8.30 this morning then press 1 to be on the queue as nobody is picking up the phone. I was trying to point out that we tried to ring in 2x but no luck, the phone was just ringing so we were forced to press 1 to join the queue. But receptionist said that 'we are going on circles here' when I was pointing out that nobody call us, even after 2 attempts of being on the queue!!! What kind of service is this?? Oh please we do not call if do not need help, receptionist whoever you are I hope you will never ever seek medical help. You are so quick to tell me to call again tomorrow as you do not have available appointment but you did not even query what is going on with the patient !!! You should not be on that job if you can not do it properly!

I have worked there and based on my experience some nurses aren't friendly and I can confirm it myself. I was told by two workers that currently work there that some nurses / receptionists are too harsh towards cleaners and complain a lot. They're never satisfied at all. Gladly I didn't experience few weeks of staying. But it would be unfair to mistreat the cleaners who do their efforts to make sure the environment is clean in good standard. Especially part timers workers can't do everything in short hours. Imagine earning s**t money to be disrespected like that. If I were to earn a million pound to be disrespected by some people I would take it. I would have suggested them to find a better place tho. As for me, I didn't experience that thank God.
