I called this clinic to make an appointment to have a corn removed. I spoke directly to Mr Fox. His phone etiquette was something to be desired, however i didn’t give this much thought. When myself & my partner turned up 1 minute late for my appointment as we struggled to find a parking space, we said hello to him & he replied with “who am I seeing,” to which my partner gestured to myself & said “Tomasz.” He repeated again “who am I seeing,” I then said “me.” He took us into the room & said “i thought you weren’t coming.” My partner looked at the clock & saw it was 1 minute past my appointment & she replied to him “really?” as it was surprising to assume this for only being 1 minute late. Moving on, I found him to be extremely arrogant, rude, dismissive & condescending. As a man of his profession, education & age, I would have expected him to have even minimum standards of basic manners. Through the whole procedure, which was only about 15 minutes, myself & my partner felt very uncomfortable & i couldn’t wait to leave. At the end, even though he was unwelcoming & rude, after paying i still said thank you, & there was no reply back from him. When you use a private service, you’d expect a simple friendly & comforting experience. At least a smile when they take your money would be the bare minimum. In the future I would go to another clinic.

Great service and would recommend. He fit me in at short notice, assessed and dealt with my problem efficiently, he answered any questions I had, I was given a thorough aftercare guide and have had no issues since. The reviews here are laughable and mostly false, the Dr gave a professional service and shouldn't be down rated for not engaging in mindless chit chat. If that's what you are looking for, try a psychiatrist rather than a podiatrist.

Very professional and efficient service. Mr Fox did not waste my time on talking about unimportant conversations and completed the procedure quickly and painlessly. Had no issues since the surgery and had no need for any further appointments.

Daughter had an appointment last week turned up no one there rang to be told it couldn't be done and rebooked for today. Turned up no one there again rang to be told couldn't make it. No text or phone call either time as stated and total waste of time and poor service

Had my surgery done today for ingrowing toe nail. I was little concerned about recent bad reviews but I must say it was great. Quick, cheap and overall very good experience.

My daughter attended for an ingrown toenail. We decided to take the surgical option. I found Mr Fox to be totally unapproachable, his personal conduct was appalling and his demeanour made the whole appointment incredibly uncomfortable. I appreciate he has a job to do and that he needs to concentrate and he isn’t there to make friends, however, being a professional isn’t just about your work skills. When administering the anaesthetic to my daughters toe, I noticed blood coming from the bottom of her toe. It transpires the he had pushed the needle right through her toe, dispensing some of the anaesthetic onto the floor- this only came to light when I got home, my other daughter saw this happen. The actual procedure itself was very painful and Mr Fox instructed my daughter to say if it was painful, which she did. He asked how much and she said very. He continued to work saying he was nearly done and to bare with him. I appreciate this meant he didn’t need to administer any more anaesthetic, however, if the first dose had been administered correctly, this would not have been necessary, nor would the pain my daughter endured. I am actually very upset that my daughter was put through this as I don’t believe the procedure should have been as painful as it was. From reading the other reviews and responses, I am very aware that Mr Fox refers to the serious nature of his work to explain how he comes across. This is not an acceptable justification and I would urge people not to choose Mr Fox as their practitioner.
