Went in wanting to get into a new hobby and learn more, after I was gifted a plant. Woman was alone in the shop, I thought it perfect timing. Had picture of plant in hand, asked first where empty pots where. She shows the location. I notice no holes on the bottom, she explains that plants tend to come in pots with the hole already there - so it's not necessary. My plant is in a tiny compost pot that needed space to grow - so I asked about putting a hole in this pot to repot the plant. 'You're going to find it hard with that type of pot.' Expected recommendation. None came, and I work with ceramics so I know how to safely put a hole. "What if I wanted to repot the plant? I was thinking of buying a second one so they could grow together." 'It's not needed.' "Even if I want a second one growing in the same pot?" 'I thought you only had the one?' *Me realising she wasn't listening.* "Maybe you're busy right now and I really want to learn more. I can wait for you to be done." 'No, I'm fine right now.' "Okay, well I was interested in a second plant so thought repotting made sense. I'm confused." "It's not needed, just buy a second pot." So with my answer being apparently only one plant can grow in one pot of any size, I bought the minimum I needed for my current plant and left. The pot is massively too big for the little plant I have, but I'll be looking elsewhere for advice. Probably a good shop if you know what you're after. Zero recommendation if you're new to flowers and want a chance to learn - I suggest anywhere else.

A stylish shop, with interesting flowers, run by a friendly, nice person. Glad to know the plant I bought was produced in an ecologically sound fashion. Most importantly, I am delighted with the beautiful Aloe Vera plant.
We ordered Christmas table decorations for a few friends this year and the comments we had were extremely amazing . Everyone thought they were very beautiful and they had so many flowers ,Scottish thistles included. It’s 5th January and mine are still amazing as long as you water the base sponge daily they last longer than cut flowers . We use Black Orchid all year and they offer quality flowers and service and never fail to impress .
Amazing flowers were for a male friend for a sad occasion. I thought the choice in flowers wernt to girly and was suitable for the occasion.
We had the best possible experience for our wedding flowers from Black Orchid, which so many of our guests complimented us on. I went in with an idea of what I DIDN'T want and they did the rest. The manager was personable, friendly and able to pick up on what I actually DID want even before I did! I've returned again for a bouquet for my mother-in-law, who was absolutely delighted with what she received, and that was just an over the phone order. If you're after extraordinary flowers, imaginative bouquets and exceptional service, I couldn't recommend anyone better. Top class!
