I visited recently with my friend for my 9th birthday and had the best time. Dean and James were so knowledgeable and friendly, we were a bit nervous but they put our minds at rest straight away. We had a brilliant time riding so far around Weston Park through woods and across big fields. I canβt wait to go again. Highly recommend. Thank you very much.

We've just had festive afternoon tea at the house. Absolutely gorgeous. The food, the house, the hosts all fabulous. Bonus was having a Christmas craft fayre on too. The gardens are kept and were lit beautifully. Can't wait for our next visit in the new year. Thank you to everyone for making it such a lovely day. X

Really enjoyed our begin off-road experience. We were given a briefing on our bikes before setting off. Shortly after our speed was increased and we were in and out the wooded areas, going across the fields. I will definitely be rebooking it next year. My 11 year old boy absolutely loved it and a great birthday present for him. Thank you to the instructor for taking photos.

Took my 12 & 8 year old here for Begin Off Road, and they had a great time, even the rain didn't dampen their spirits. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. As the group progressed around the park they split into 2 groups based on confidence/ability which really helped my yougest as he wasn't as confident in the woods as his older sister. Thoroughly recommended

We had a super afternoon with the begin off road team. They kitted us out brilliantly and gave really clear instructions about the bikes. Everything was explained clearly and my niece (10 years old) felt comfortable and at ease. She felt able to ask questions and the speed and level of riding was set at a pace that she felt able to control. The whole session was a huge amount of fun with lots of riding time across the stunning estate. We had an fab time and will definitely try and return soon. Thank you all for making it such an easy and brilliant afternoon.

We went for the enchanted forest, made a perfect date night with my wife! It looked so amazing! The food and drinks were amazing too! Children had activities to do including icing Christmas trees and gingerbread men! We shall return!

A, lovely day out at the food festival today. We tried the gorgeous Ferrero Brownies and a Spinach, Feta, Creme fraiche sort of pasty from Jools Gourmet. Beautiful grounds and pretty gardens, a lovely place to visit. Also a play area and miniature railway for the kids.

Yes. The train is still there and. It's. A twenty plus minute ride through the woods too.. Ok as for the House itself. Well it's big, lots of oil paintings of really unattractive and menacing looking people from hundreds of years ago, vases and statuettes and room after room. Most rooms had an old lady telling you not to sit on the furniture/sofas. More oil paintings some of horses, lots of nakedness, women and children and babies depicted in quite a lot of these old paintings, no comments lol Pretty boring stuffiness really unless you like that sort of stuff. I guess. The grounds and gardens, bits I saw were ok. I didn't walk and explore the whole 1000 acres or the whole estate, it seemed to go on forever. As was there for the Summer Fiesta and picnic. I have never been here before so nice to finally have a look around. I didn't go in to The Granary bar restaurant but it looked really nice for somewhere to eat and drink so plan on a return visit. As stately homes and gardens go, I was disappointed by the gardens so if that's your thing there's much better places, if you are taking kids I think it's not historic enough, didn't see any suits of armour and all the kids wanted to go upstairs which is out of bounds. For walking the dogs, a picnic and a game of Frisby, play park and train, it's a good alternative to your normal park and the facilities, toilets, shop, etc are very good. I think unless there's an event or thing on, you just pay parking.

Beautiful gardens and enjoyable afternoon visiting the grounds of the Park. A nice pizza at the Pizza kitchen, too! The house isn't open to the public, only the grounds.

Quick to get into the place with an entry point for tickets booked on line and separate point of entry if paying on day. Great outside play area for young children with lots of things to occupy them and for them to climb on and over. The miniature train which is by the play area is reasonably priced at Β£2.50 for around a15 min. ride which is through a wooded area so there's not a lot to see except for lots of great interesting trees. But beware of the train seats they were all really dirty. It's a great place if you like a good walk with big wide open spaces and a great place to take your dog. Not a lot there to see though, there's the formal gardens a church a couple of greenhouses with lots of plants in and you have to look and find these places because there isn't a map to tell you where they are or any sign post's. For the ladies there's a problem with the toilets. Very long queues. Also the separate disability toilet was also being used as a nappy changing area. Why ? Surely they can find a room for nappy changing. There is the house of course to look around which is Β£3 extra but it's well worth having a look inside. It's only open from 1 till 4 but most rooms have a guide and the guides are very helpful and knowledgeable about the house. They could do with signs to tell you which room to go into next, people seem to be wondering backwards and forwards not sure which way to go. Used there snack bar to purchased a ham roll for Β£2.50 one very thin peice of ham and the roll lacked any substance to it but the hot chocolate I purchased was great. Enjoyed the day. Would have enjoyed more if the sun had been out.
