came here for the steak on the stone. good service. a fun concept and a delicious cut of meat but a lack of seasoning which made it slightly bland. i came here and had the steak before and i swear they served it with a trio of seasonings, it was so much nicer back then. i don’t know whether they removed the seasonings or forgot about them this time.

We had the squid, brisket burnt ends, ribeye, filet, lemon pepper wings, loaded chicken fries, rhubarb cheesecake, and chocolate honeycomb cheesecake. We had a party of three. The beef options were all the exact same beef, just called different names. The ribeye and filet tasted like ungrounded hamburger meat and were so thick that the outside burnt way before the inside had a chance to cook. We had to cut the meat up to get it cooked to our liking without making it too stiff. I wouldn't order beef at this restaurant again. The burnt ends had bbq sauce on them, but they weren't brisket. The desserts were good. The wings were outstanding. The service was great. All of the employees were exceedingly nice. The atmosphere was jovial and friendly.

Great meal, generous portions - the brisket burger in particular was massive. The loaded fries we'd deffo have again. The nicest item was the surf and turf starter, quite small but super tasty. Service was friendly too. We'll go again, recommended

Just spent a lovely weekend at the Manor for a family member's birthday. Food was amazing, although I didn't have the cook your own steak on a slate which most of the family had it looked and I was told was delicious, I opted for the Salmon and Prawn with new potatoes, it was so tasty. We booked a room which was spacious and cosy, beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was good value for money and delicious, our host couldn't do enough for us. I can see why this place is popular and I would highly recommend

Had the Christmas menu "meat on the rock", each of us picked a different meat and we shared- reindeer was the outright winner! Desert was particularly good, I had a sticky toffee cheesecake but the whole selection looked fantastic! Staff were friendly and attentive, would definitely come back!

Probably the best food I have eaten in England. We were eating in the pub with some really nice people sitting on the other tables. Sadly we found that place on our last trip to that area but we will try to make at least a stop on our next business trip to Lakenheath.

Popped in to the Black Rock Grill @ The Manor Hotel On a wifely whim. Loved the look of the pub and the restaurant side was set up nicely. The wife and I both had the ribeye. The roasted veg was amazing! I could have a giant bowl of just them. My curly fries were a good accompaniment but wife said jacket potato was great too. As for the steak, well as the wife said, "best steak I've ever cooked." Was a good sized potion with salt, pepper, and spices on the side. If you've never had a hot rock rock steak, they bring you a hunk of meat on rock that's heated to about 230° and you cook it yourself. If you hear anyone complaining about smoking or meat sticking I would avoid their cooking. If the meat sticks to the rock it's still cooking. If it's smoking you've probably done something silly like add butter or peppercorn sauce to the hot rock. Kids had fish fingers (two as long as my three year olds arm) and chicken nuggets which I ate half of because my daughter kept stealing my steak. We had a burnt ends starter which was great as well. We are excited to go back as there's so many other things on the menu we can't wait to try.

My god, the rooms are basic, but clean. The food however, is absolutely stunning. I have never tasted smoked chicken this good. The staff are great. I can't rave about this place any more. It amazing. I have to pause before writing this in case I can't get a table next time. Awesome!
