The place has changed, it's well decorated, clean and nice polite staff. Just had sausages and mash with onion gravy £3.95 amazing. All the comments are when it had the last owners. The new owners have really made a difference, the toilets are spotless. It's one of the best places in Shefford.
Popped into the pub recently and what a difference! The new landlady has done a brilliant job – so welcoming and friendly. The place has had a lovely refurbishment, it feels fresh and cosy while still keeping that proper pub atmosphere. We had food and it was delicious – generous portions - great value. You can really tell there’s care going into both the service and the kitchen. It’s quickly becoming one of my favourite spots again. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been in since the changes
The absolute worst Establishment I've ever had the dishonor of being in. avoid at all costs. don't even look at the place. Honestly and seriously it's shocking the behaviour here if you aren't a regular they'll make you KNOW about it. they'll treat you different and even listen in on your Conversations to hear if you're swearing. I'm not talking you shout you get kicked out that would be reasonable. I'm talking normal person to person quiet noise level and they'll kick you out. absolutely horrendous owner of the place too an absolute disgrace
My friend and I went to the pub last night to do the quiz, only to be told it was fully booked upon arrival to the empty pub (the barstaff didn't even move to pour the drinks we'd ordered). I asked if we could stand at the bar and play, and was told no they were at capacity. So we left as the whole situation felt off. A bit later another friend called the pub at a few minutes to 8 to ask if there were tables free for the quiz, and were told told yes there were plenty. Won't bother going back.
We held our wedding reception here in July. Roy and Paula (and the rest of the team!) went over and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Due to various reasons we used the White Hart last minute, and they really were great. Let us in the night before and stayed open until the early hours letting us decorate, let us move around their whole pub to create the atmosphere we wanted, gave us some great drink deals for our reception, helped us with our buffet and really just went over and beyond - Roy even wore a pink tie to match our colour scheme! Thank you so much, really would recommend to anyone wanting to host an event in Shefford.

Popped in for a drink on a rainy Saturday. Bar was a bit cold, people had their jackets and coats on. But it was pleasant enough.
Overnight stay in room 1. The room was spacious and comfortable. The host was very helpful in explaining everything. Priced similarly to other facilities in the area but the rooms are much better. Be sure to find the carpark via the rear using the next turning past the hotel.
The Sunday lunch at White heart is amazing. I have just had the chicken supreme and it was the best tasting food I have had in a long time. Well done roy and the whole team.. keep up the good work.
