We stayed here for one night during our roadtrip in a "Luxury Triple Room". On the positive side Paul was helpful and lovely. The room was dark, on the smaller side with a queen bad (not king), tired furniture arrangement and only 2 outlets. The mattress felt thin and uncomfortable. The room we got was located on ground level, requiring to go up stairs, then down stairs to reach it. It had direct window to the street so everyone can see inside unless you close the blinds. The real disaster though was the shower. It had the most complicated control system for a shower I ever encountered (see pic). Basically, its 2 rotating rings, each controlling both water temperature AND flow. It gets worse, because the effect is not immediate, after you change anything, it takes a bit for the water to react, so the cause-and-effect are not evident. It was extremely confusing setting up the water and turning them off at the end. Finally, as a place that prides itself on giving attention to the little details, both the body wash and conditioner containers in our shower were empty.

Toilet was far too much of a walk from the bed (at least 12 steps I believe), there was nowhere near enough soap or shower gel available, breakfast was incredibly average and my eggs were overcooked, and I had to put up with someone banging yoga balls with drumsticks early in the morning. Won’t ever be returning. Will likely look to glamp next time, or stay at a pub

My daughter and I came here for a one on one yoga session with Maxine and then an afternoon tea in the cafe. The yoga session was perfect, both of us really enjoyed it. Everyone was very welcoming, it was a lovely way to spend the day with my daughter. I would definitely recommend. If I lived closer I would go to weekly yoga sessions there.

While visiting Northampton, we stay at The Roade House whenever possible, and usually between 4/5 nights on average. Everytime we’ve stayed, Paul & Maxine have been most welcoming. The rooms are immaculate, welcoming and there is always a good selection of Tea/Coffee and Water. We love that they are pet friendly, so it means we don’t have to leave the dog at home when we come to the office. Breakfast is always pleasant in the morning, with varied and fresh options available. Location is really good, not too far from M1 and Milton Keynes is really accessible too.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a local family wedding. Paul and his team could not be more welcoming, accommodating or helpful. Great yoga class . Great Breakfast. Lovely big rooms . Friendly helpful service. What more could you ask for!

Fantastic place to be, I have eaten here a few times and the food is so tasty, with vegan options too. I’ve also had drinks at the bar, the cocktails are really yummy, tropical martini is one of my favorites! I absolutely love this place. It has so many different services here so it’s not a wasted trip, it’s like a little retreat that you don’t want to leave. So cosy and warm and the staff are lovely and friendly! It has a yoga studio, a bistro restaurant and bar, hair dressers, and a beauty room! What more could you ask for from a place! I definitely recommend!
