One of the best B and B's I have ever visited. The room was excellent but not en suite. The breakfast was absolutely first class. I shall certainly stay here again. Dog friendly.
We had a lovely and convenient 1 night stay. The owner was communicative and very helpful in our planning (we had a toddler in our party and wanted to make sure there was room for a travel cot) Lovely traditional spot in a pretty village with a couple of nice pubs, right on the canal.
Beautiful stay, lovely location very reasonably priced. Room was very clean and presentable. Free internet and sky was a bonus. Easy free parking. Gail was the best host going very friendly. Breakfast was very nice and delicious with fresh eggs and coffee. Nice to be able to have it at a time of your choosing. The free room upgrade was a very sweet touch. It's a lovely stay and would definitely use again.
Wonderful stay. We had a wonderful stay in Canalside B&B. Gil welcomed us with freshly made coffee. After tiring driving it was what we needed. Very comfortable bed, quiet location. We had a great night sleep. Full English breakfast & Gil's mum's homemade jams were superb. Eggs from their own chickens - what can be better? Thank you very much Gil. We definitely will be back.
Loved it and the hosts. Near M1 but quiet beside the canal - only sound was the ducks quacking in the morning. Good honest tasty food. Rooms and dining room immaculate. Comfortable. Plenty of parking. Shared bathroom but perfect condition and the price is knockout for bed, breakfast and evening meal - all in for less than a hotel room. + WiFi and big TV.

Lovely little traditional B&B even offering home cooked evening meal! Excellent value for money for the professional traveller on a budget.
