Marcus Jordan are the best letting agents Stef and I have ever encountered, Still amazed it’s been 8 years at the same property, you were there whenever we needed you guys. Excellent service, friendly and professional. Sad to move away for work as we loved the property, it was our home and we will miss it.

   We have used Marcus Jordan in various capacities from "tenant find" to "full management" to using some of their tradespeople. Having been a Landlord for 15 years, with multiple properties, and a Letting agent for six months we inevitably came across a Landlord's worst nightmare. Structural damage began to be caused directly and indirectly by the tenant, along with irrational demands and breaches of the tenancy. Marcus Jordan took over full management of the problematic property quickly, despite knowing what they were going to have to deal with. The abusive phone calls by the tenant were time consuming as was standing tradespeople up and down on a whim. Trying to negotiate with a tenant for the structural damage took time when poverty was pleaded. Resulting in the landlord paying for the damage to be fixed if a monthly repayment plan was agreed. This was breached by the tenant. Will was available for long conversations along with the maintenance department, headed up by Ben, on the management of the situation. Marcus Jordan gave clear guidelines, in a timely manner, as to what had to be done to bring the property back to the move in inventory on move out. Ben worked tirelessly to deliver an objective outcome and put together a full case for the DPS's arbitration team. The photographic evidence, report and invoices submitted by Ben resulted in the DPS ruling against the tenant. After various trades were organised the property was re-let. I have always found Marcus Jordan to be respectful, understanding and communicative. There will always be three sides to every story.

   They act nice up front but will screw you over at every opportunity once moved in. False claims and evidence were submitted to the DPS following the end of my tenancy resulting in my losing the entirety of my deposit after a 1 year tenancy, despite the house being returned in a clean and well maintained condition. They took over 5 months to replace my front door after it was mistakenly broken down by police, I was forced to pay the bill or else be left with a flimsy sheet of chipboard covering the door. The checkout inspection was conducted with Ben present, and the things he pointed out were cleaned as requested. Despite this I was stuck with nearly £700 in cleaning fees. Ben also mocked and belittled me on several occasions due to my mental health issues. As a tenant stay as far away as you can

   Thank you so much to Ryan and everyone at Marcus Jordan. The best experience I’ve had of moving house so far. (And I’ve moved a few times) they were so friendly and helpful and at a time when I’m trying to recover from an adverse credit history, they were completely understanding and didn’t make me feel at all judged unlike other agents I’ve used previously. I made changes a few times and it was never a hassle for them. They took everything in their stride. After moving in I reported a noise with the heating and they had an engineer out in less than 24 hours. I’ve asked them to get my landlords permission to have fibre installed for internet and again I had it by the same afternoon. Basically I’ve been nothing but a headache and they have been incredible throughout. I have my dream home now so I hope I don’t have to move again but if I did I’d 100% use these guys. Thank you

   This is the worst agency I have ever experienced with, because I have got 5 appointments from them to view the houses and 3 of them they were cancelled just before the viewing and I I viewed the rest of 2 houses then told them I were interested in it to rental the property I got no response from them rather than some lies!! Then I tried with "Stephen and Oakley" viewed just 1 house there you go I got that house like lightning procedures they are genuine. Trust me if you want a house to rent just try with Stephen and Oakley don't go through Marcus and Jordan please....
