Great service from Nigel, he was able to schedule us in for a filter change just a few days after I contacted him. Finished the work quickly and enthusiastically and also checked our pool water and equipment whilst he was here. Will be contacting Nigel for our pool needs in the future.
What can I say , Nigel has been a god send since we first started using him over 5 years ago, to help with our many aging pool issues. We struggled with pool clarity and chemical levels initially which Nigel was instantly able to resolve and was so good at explaining how to maintain the pool correctly going forward. Due to the age of our pool / liner and filtration system, we were on our last legs with it and we were losing water ( which is never good). We decided to have a complete overhaul / makeover of the pool , new liner, electric cover, replacement coping stones , patio, new steps , new filtration , pipework , Air source heat pump to replace the gas boiler and a salt water system to replace the old chlorine tablets, which were not agreeing with my sons eczema. Nigel was able to complete the whole job and talked us through all our options and ideas. It was a massive undertaking and we are so pleased with the final result, the pool looks amazing and is so much more economical to run too. I cannot recommend Nigel enough The Shearings
Nigel has just installed a beautiful new liner into my pool, which has completely transformed it. Nigel has done my regular pool maintenance for the last few years and I've always found him to be straightforward to deal with, highly competent and knowledgeable about his industry, I would highly recommend him.
Nigel and his team have been amazing. They are always cheery, their attention to detail is second to none and Nigel is a real problem solver. We have had the old 1970s pool redesigned and upgraded but Nigel as well as advice and maintenance. Can't recommend this team enough.
We have used Nigel Lake Swimming pools to replace our sand filter our worn out liner, whilst providing maintenance of our pool for the last 5 years. Nigel is extremely knowledgeable and has considerable experience and expertise such that I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. We recently had an issue with our liner due to the excessive winter rain which Nigel resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents who used Nigel's services and wanted others to know how impressed they are. My parents needed a new liner to be fitted in their garden pool due to the previous one being the best part of 30 years old, and for it to be turned into a heated pool, finally, no more cold bits! On calling Nigel, he was friendly and polite to my Dad and said he'd be round at a certain day and time and sure enough he was there spot on time. My parents found Nigel to be really informative and helpful with their enquiry and needs, Nigel suggested ideas that my parents hadn't thought of and perhaps weren't aware of, all in a non-pushy way, this was excellent. Once work was agreed, Nigel would call my parents to let them know again what day and time he'd be round, if the weather was going to be inclement he'd call and let them know another day and time would be more appropriate for the work needing doing. My parents were never left feeling that they weren't going to hear from Nigel, he was spot on keeping them informed. The work carried out was done efficiently, very clean and tidy, and done to a very high professional standard, my parents would certainly recommend Nigel, and seeing the quality of his work and how well he looked after my parents, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Nigel either. I know my parents will continue to use Nigel for many years to come. Thanks again!
Nigel Lake is an absolutely first rate pool engineer and maintenance man. He has looked after our pool in Wroxham for the past four or five years and it has never looked better. Nigel was recommended to us by our previous pool man when he retired and we can see why he came so highly recommended. He always goes out of his way to make sure that everything is running perfectly and drew up a comprehensive instruction manual bespoke to our pool system so that we always have clear guidance on day to day running of the system. He is highly intelligent as well as being exceptionally practical and we have always looked forward to and enjoyed his visits. Quite simply the best pool man in East Anglia!
