This beautiful park is a must-visit when you're in Lowestoft. It's equipped with a bandstand for summer entertainment, a fantastic children's play area, and is conveniently located near Oulton Broad for watersports.

Day out at the power boat racing, free and fun. Away from the racing itβs just a nice place to wander and relax or fish. Food, ice creams and beer on sale and a small tackle shop. There is also a decent amount of pay parking which is a nice wooded area in its own right.

Probably the prettiest place I've ever been, going in the week alot was still shut but it's a beautiful walk with so much to see, lovely views and even friendly squirrels who come over for food. Also a decent park for the children. Highly recommend if you like a peaceful walk, a light lunch or just a few hours exploring

We stayed in Lowestoft over Christmas and Nicholas Everitt Park was two minutes from where we stayed I visited this park every morning after breakfast for my daily exercise and walked the whole perimeter including Oulton Broad. I absolutely loved this place and the best part of it was the Wildlife which consisted of Swans Gulls ducks Squirrels lots of Songbirds Crows and Cormorants which were amazing to watch. The park is clean and beautiful to walk around its full of trees and right on the waters edge a real lovely pleasant and scenic place to spend some time. We found a little shop close by that sells bags of food for the birds and swans for Β£1 so we bought a lot and went every day to feed the birds which was highly amusing as it caused a frenzy as a race for the food became a daily habit. Thereβs lots of friendly little Robins in the park too who love to be fed we took mealworms and they came right up to my feet. People were friendly and Oulton Broad was really chilled and a nice place to walk around thereβs a lovely cafe there and I look forward to returning as the wildlife was everywhere which is wonderful to see as it was incredibly peaceful and restful. βοΈβοΈβοΈ

How unique - the irony of Banksyβs artwork sits well within this well to do district - and Iβm sure the local council do not bat an eyelid to the moral message within the work plastered within the park they deem fit to charge tourists. Have you ever had to pay to gain entry to a public park? Well at Nicholas Everit Park the council claim their Deed of Gift and use it to maximise profit during the height of their season. We didnβt mind you g the fee to enter the park as we wanted to see the boat show and make use of the cafe, however I noticed scores of families sat outside the fences trying to get a picture of what was going on at the waters edge. No where was it advertised you would have to pay to enter, not online or in travel brochures - but on arrival youβll find a list of dates that the council will charge you. Being most people will come to this broad for the power boat racing - you will have to pay to use the park. Im sure the profits from this capitalist venture pays for the upkeep of the park - it is beautiful and well kept - however the purposeful segregation for those not able to pay for entry (especially during this cost of living crisis) to a PUBLIC PARK clearly indicates that the denizens of this district clearly have not truly reflected on the message in Banksyβs workβ¦ I know this review will not sit well with others - however I think public parks are for the public - not for profit.
