A smallish zoo but a minimum of 3 hours to enjoy. We spent 6 hours and enjoyed every minite. Great staff, knowledgable, caring, and clearly enjoying their job The Bat cave is a must. Food not great so bring a pack up in my opinion. We did order a pizza and a rollover so not a proper review. Other food could be better

To start with, the place is not very big, I may be comparing it to other zoos but the species of animals is also very limited and not unique in nature. Entrance to the zoo is with a £15.50 ticket per adult and £11 per child. We got a senior citizen concession for our parents of £1 off for each of them. Parking - Free on site, with a capacity of approx 30 cars. Cafe - Yes, with option of cold and hot drinks and burgers, hot dogs. Kids friendly menu available too. I wouldn’t say that it’s a well kept/maintained zoo in terms of the greenery inside the premises. Staff is friendly and helpful, in a span of 2 hours we spent there, I met a girl who feeds the animals there and she explained quite a lot about the monkeys and was ready to help with the other questions I had. Overall, you’ll need about 2 hours to cover it all and have a snack (if not carrying), it has benches and chairs to sit and eat unless you goto the cafe which is covered and heated sitting is available with kids play area inside it. Toilets - Only 1 out of the 6 had water and tissues which made the other ones unusable.

I am impressed with Shepreth Wildlife park. Many conservation programmes for endangered species. The Animals are well fed and in great shape. The Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. A good sized indoor soft ball play area for the children in the cafe to burn some energy off. They have sponsorship and experience day packages which can be booked online. There are good views of the animals, birds, reptiles and insects. A nicely managed zoo. As a family we really enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of parking spaces. Two recommendations; improve waiting time for food in the cafe what was supposed to be 30 mins became 45 mins. And larger signage travelling to the wildlife park.

Always a lovely visit here. Great for a few hours out. Great animal enclosures. Fabulous Red Panda viewing! Lovely lake area. Kids indoor play area, cafe with a small menu, entrance and exit is via the shop. Parking on site. Easy to get to by train too! Station is next door! Definitely recommend a visit.

I have been here twice now and overall it is a great zoo. On the smaller side which is not too bad. Could probably get round it all in 2 hours or so but you can make a day of it if you take your time and have lunch in between. We visited on a sunday and it was pretty quiet. Great variety of animals there. They do have a soft play there, over 3s area and a baby area but unfortunately the baby area was completely shut off. Nice outdoor play area for the kids too. Price wise, I would say the ticket price is cheap for a zoo

Simply amazing! Not massive but this also means easy to go round and seeing animals. We particularly like the red pandas, lemurs, and tigers. Animals are chill which is great to see. Also has lots activity for my daughter - both in door and out doors she loves it and so do we! Many seating areas dotted round the zoo.

Fantastic wildlife park. We much prefer this to larger zoos e.g, the London zoo. A lot of activities and areas for kids, affordable and nice cafe, you can tell the animals are really cared for. Every 30 minutes you can listen to a free “keepers talk” about a different type of animal, which is really insightful. We spent 3 hours there just exploring the animals and habitats. Lovely day.

Nice little wildlife park. We spent 3 hours here. There are several animal talks. You need to bring a mask for the nocturnal enclosures. There is a cafe with the soft play. Where you can be sandwiches, hotdogs and pizza. It can get quite noisy from the children playing which was fine for us, but might not suit everyone. The education centre had some nice activities my children enjoyed, the keeper chatted explaining the answers

Nice place. Not as big as some zoos, but they do good conservation work. There's a cafe and children's play area with enough to keep them entertained while you sit. We bought the aardvark experience which was great. Dean the curator was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were comfortable while he had us feed and pet the aardvarks. The fee goes towards their conservation efforts which is a bonus.

While not the biggest wildlife/ zoo I've visited. Managed to get round the whole park in around hour & half, it certainly makes up for character. The park is very scenic, lots of little streams & ponds scattered around the place. Makes for a really peaceful & nice environment, the animals seem very well looked after.
