The Woolloomooloo Aviary is located within Wicksteed Park in Kettering and has many exotic birds, from cocktails to parrots. At the moment, due to the parrot's nesting season, the entrance is temporarily closed, meaning you can only go in via the exit. I have been a few times during the years, and I have to give this place a solid four out of five stars. It's pretty spacious, and the birds look healthy and happy as they groom one another. There are plenty of feeding stations and water areas for the birds to fly freely from one side to the other, and it offers people a chance to view them up close. I would highly recommend this place for people who enjoy photography because you can see some strikingly colourful birds, which is enjoyable to view. This ride costs one ticket, or it's free with the wristband. I would say it's wheelchair accessible; however, at the beginning, there are a series of ropes hanging from the ceiling to prevent birds from escaping, but there are always staff around to help if needed.
