    I asked for a VAT receipt and a bank receipt was re-printed. I asked again and again and eventually a "VAT receipt" was printed with the invalid VAT number 999999. I felt that this was not an accident. The person knew what I was asking for, and knew when they gave me the receipt (eventually) that it had an invalid VAT number. When you are in there please ask for a VAT receipt and check it. I reported this shop to the HMRC.
