The pharmacist here told my Mum what she had definitely wasn't shingles, and rudely told her "I don't know what you want me to do about it". She ended up going to A&E the next day with shingles. Absolute joker. Don't expect a pharmacist to be able to diagnose shingles, but if you don't know then tell someone to see a doctor!
The pharmacist here went above and beyond last week trying to track medication for my son. He checked with all other Boots pharmacies within a 20 mile radius. I was very grateful for his help.
I'm not sure what Boots are trying to achieve with their Holt store; opening hours are erratic, prices on regular products are high, and staff aren't welcoming. Difficult to recommend.
OK for essentials but staff and shelves not very helpful. Tills that were not assigned a sales person and no organised queuing system. Felt let down by what I have always thought was a great company. Maybe other Boots are all better
Need a top up of holiday essentials, found everything we wanted, soap, shampoo, hairspray etc. Very pleasant staff, who were only to happy to point out where things were squirrelled away.
As this is the only chemist for miles around, it is a worry that it's not open on Saturdays for urgent items, why? Nearest chemist is a 16 mile round trip. When it is open staff are helpful but stocks are hit a miss.
I'm not sure what's happened to this store, always used to be fully stocked and open when it's supposed to be but just recently there's alot of empty spaces on the shelfs, especially the makeup and has been shut on several occasions because of the lack of a pharmacist. I know staff shortages can't be helped sometimes but having to close a shop three times in one week is a bit much.
