Terrible pharmacy. Queues always 40mins plus. Asked if they could fulfil an electronic prescription and was told “they don’t have the internet” so cant check. Why don’t they have the internet in a Town centre. Lloyds please invest in you people and premises.

I’ve got no idea what’s gone on here, but the store is totally shambolic. There are generally two beleaguered staff on duty, desperately trying to keep things afloat, but to no avail. Expect at least a 40 minute wait to pick up a (generally incomplete) prescription. Long queues stretching outside the door are normal, and it normally takes 10 mins to serve a single person. Sometimes they even randomly close up shop for a few days, leaving you utterly stuck if your prescription has been sent there. The latest gem is that their computer system is down, so that no one can pick up medicine, no matter how safety critical to health that is. Also the payment systems were down today so it was cash only. An utter mess all round, and the girls behind the counter are copping all the flak whilst the managers are hiding away. This has been going on for a long time now, it’s not just a one off.

I'm afraid that the service is now very, very poor. Queues are excessively long, with little sign of motivation. Staff turnover has been a problem and, 'vacancy' signs, displayed in the Pharmacy, are a regular feature. Should you be feeling a little annoyed with life, best to not enter!

Dreadful service for flu jab. Booked a few months in advance for my flu jab. Then on the day I call to find out not only is the pharmacist not yet at the store (this was after the store opened and the pharmacist was coming from London) but when they did arrive that pharmacist was not able to carry out vaccinations. This is the second year this has happened to me. My jab was rebooked for the same time on the Saturday. I arrived early as advised to find a queue of approx 20 people trailing onto the street. Another customer in the queue said the pharmacist hadn't done a full working day yesterday so was behind on scripts today. I waited until my appointment time, had barely progressed in the queue so left. My time is precious and not to be wasted due to staffing issues at my local pharmacy. This is not acceptable. Lloyds Pharmacy is failing the residents of Towcester. We're customers and should be treated better. Sort it out or you'll lose even more business.

I’ve used this pharmacy for a few years but recently the service hasn’t been good. Twice they’ve handed over incomplete prescriptions and one time claimed not to be able to get a medication after many days of waiting and simply offered no alternative. Today I queued for three quarters of an hour and heard multiple complaints about poor service, failure to fill prescriptions etc.

They have a duty of care but for some reason not adhering to it! The receptionist shrugged me off when I asked for Pharmacy2u prescription as I had an email from them to prove that I can get the pills I needed from any pharmacy and she just told me sorry,We don't do them,so much for the duty of care then! Will go to Boots next time, maybe better luck there!!
