First time at The Bear Club 12/12/25 to see Will Wilde. An amazing experience. The Bear is an awesome music venue. Small and friendly with a great atmosphere. Mostly seating which is a must for me now with my knees. Excellent night, I'll be back.

I can’t believe I only found out about The Bear Club recently! The club is located on the most convenient place, near the railway station and the bus station. We went down to watch The Fabulous Red Diesel play and we were blown away! The club is so close and intimate, the bar is just right beside the stage so making it really convenient to just pop by there to get a drink! They provide plenty of drinks options and crisp and other snacks only.So make sure you have your dinner beforehand! I can’t wait to be back again!

First visit to this wonderful local club. I almost don't want to tell you about it in fear of it getting too popular! Wonder45 have been in my radar for a year or so and they didn't disappoint. Can't wait until we visit again, next week.

A hidden gem of a music club to be found nestled in an unlikely venue in the heart of Luton. Staff are friendly and welcoming with a good selection of ‘Squirrel’ beers. We saw high quality music with Savannah and her girls supported by Dom Glynn. We will definitely be back for more. (It’s not a food place)

What an INCREDIBLE VENUE. The atmosphere and welcoming was the perfect scene setter for an evening of astonishing musical talent. I plan to return as much as possible. It’s the kind of place I want them to know my name. Very cool.

As usual, fantastic music, great selection of drinks and a thoroughly good night out. Always enjoy a trip here. Its a shame its currently planned to close mid December. This place always pleases with the music.

An amazing venue, with carefully curated acts, great drinks and all in all, one of the best places you’ll find to enjoy jazz influenced music. Just go - you’ll not be disappointed!

First time back since the start of the pandemic and the Bear Club is still the best thing to come out of Luton in years. Amazing atmosphere, top acts (Kitty La Roar Trio tonight), excellent vibe. Great selection of beers, supporting local breweries too. All round a top evening out, and a secret we need to hang on to, so please keep supporting the Bear...

Absolutely stunning eclectic environment! who said Luton wasn’t sophisticated! subtle lighting high lofted wooden ceiling as well as a wood clad mezzanine and high button backed chairs. There is memorabilia everywhere even the toilets have cassettes used as tiling! There is an excellent bar and an amazing decal of a bear in the stage area with highlighted ornate brick entablature. This club could easily be in Soho or Camden. There are regular jazz evenings and other artistic events visit their website

The biggest jewel in Luton's crown, by a long way. World class jazz/blues club which offers jazz, blues, country/Americana and a few excursions to other musical territory. Thankfully open again after the announcement that it would close for good in Spring 2020. The customers and the musicians alike say this is the best place to play and hear live music. Staff add to the special atmosphere, they get to know you and take an interest. Entry prices are great value and all the money goes to the musicians. The house takes drinks money, and the prices are the same as the pubs down the road. Sit back in an armchair or bench in the corner or sit just a few feet from the musicians at a table. Enjoy a few drinks and some of the finest bands around. The Bear is special. The Bear is like a family. All my photos shot from a front table on vintage cameras, using B&W film.
