   I ordered dumbbells only for them to be messed up, missing half the order. I’ve had to chase several times to correct the issue, explaining how urgent it is only for a real lack of customer care or urgency to correct the issue. I’ve then been told instead of just sending the replacement parts they have to pick up the current ones before redelivery a new set. Poor all round.

   Be Warned!! Poor quality goods & incompetent customer service. Our first purchase with Sweatband will certainly be our last. In summary faulty item not fit for purpose, Sweatband wanted to charge to collect whist consumer rights states retailer cannot do this if faulty and within 30 days of purchase which it was. I checked twice and both times Sweatband confirmed I'd be charged for the collection contrary to the consumer rights act. Once I quoted the consumer rights act they changed their minds - here is the full story: 1. Ordered a Spirit Fitness DRE40 Cross Trainer at a massively discounted price down from £799 to £479. I don't believe this item was ever retailing for £799 and is misleading to customers by highly inflating costs to show massive knockdown price. 2. Cross Trainer sold with 2 man delivery as very heavy. Delivery turned up completely outside of the time provided and 1 man service. Delivery driver upset as well as myself having to haul the item from the truck into the home myself. 3. Within two uses or just under 1 hour of use and well within the first 30 days of receiving the item it started to smell very badly of burning plastic. We immediately turned off the power and noticed shards of plastic disintegrated from inside in pieces/powder over the mat on the floor. The machine totally seized up and would not move. 4. Contacted Sweatband to ask for help and they were quick to advise they would refer it to a company to repair. We were not offered a refund. 5. After reading our rights online we contacted them straight back and said we'd like a refund as within 30 days of purchase and poor quality not fit for purpose. Sweatband agreed but would knock off the refund, a collection fee. Checking again, this is not allowed. I asked again and said they should not be charging to collect a faulty item in under 30 days. They again said they would charge us. I quoted consumer rights act and suddenly they agreed to collect free of charge. 6. During above I did try and contact several times and replies were not consistent, replies slowed or stopped and needed me chasing. 7. After collection I was asked to tell them myself when it was collected so they could work on refund. Not hearing anything for a few days we referred to our credit card for support who opened a case for us to help get our refund. 8. To this date no refund has been received and expect it never will. Thankfully banks can assist in times of the supplier not complying. 9. I left a review of this product on Sweatband website a good few days ago - polite review but expressing my concern for quality issues. It has not been published which is no surprise. I believe hiding negative reviews is potentially illegal as again misleading the customer by only showing positive reviews. You have to wonder why a number of these items have zero reviews left and expect its due to bad reviews not being published. By not publishing these you are not being transparent with reviews and so misleading all customers. I would copy trading standards for a full review of this company and advise any buyers to look elsewhere.

   Absolutely brilliant service from this company which far supercedes the nightmare purchase I had with a similar firm. I bought a Reebok Jet 200 treadmill from them through Amazon, and they were very professional with the order from start to finish. The delivery firm was excellent, and I can not fault the packing or assembly of the equipment. Many thanks.

   Recently ordered a set of PowerBlocks from Sweatband and they arrived in a timely manner, without any issue. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed one of chrome adder weights had some rust on it. As soon as I reached out to Sweatband's customer service team, they immediately offered to replace the parts and had them shipped/arriving within a week. To take it a step above and beyond, they even called to follow up on the delivery to ensure I was happy with the replacement parts. Highly recommend.

   Ordered a Viavito BigBounce Outdoor Table Tennis Table on 31/03/2022, still not received as at 28/04/2022. No tracking number provided, no one is answering calls and email. No help at all in locating the whereabouts of the item. Very poor customer service beware.

   I bought a DKN Roadrun treadmill, and after little use it developed a problem. Absolutely shocking backup. I have been fobbed off for 6 months by an engineer they recommended, only now to be told it's discontinued and no part available. If you buy from here, you are on your own if you get a problem.
