Really glad that I popped into this shop to buy my first real pair of running shoes. Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great experience at The Sports District. We went there looking for hockey sticks and Paul took the time to share his knowledge and experience with us. He helped pick out some example sticks that partnered with play styles and then gave us the freedom to have knock around and really get to grips with the choices. Haven't left this shop yet without exactly what I needed. Great selections of kit, accessories and importantly, sound advice to go with it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that make it refreshing to be high street shopping. I'm off to do back to back ultra marathons soon and will be kitted top to toe from here. New regular sports shop.

Excellent service - popped in to find a new stick for my 15 year old daughter. Was taken through the different shapes, weights, materials, brands - excellent overview - then given a range of sticks to try out. No pressure to buy the most expensive stick or to choose quickly, just to find the right one for her, however long that would take. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back next time we need another stick. Great to have such a specialist sports shop locally
Service was spot on. Someone spoke to us just after we came in and was very pleasant and helpful. The choice of sticks was excellent but I thought the choice of shoes and some other items would have been a bit better as it is a specialist shop. It wasn't bad, maybe my expectations were too high.
