Been in a few times with my daughter, staff always say hello to her, i let her go to the counter to buy a dress she wanted herself and the 3 staff members couldn’t have been nicer, all stopped to talk to her about unicorns, she was happy as anything. Nice dress too, thanks!
My disabled daughter was openly discriminated against and we were refused the ability to buy shoes by the young lady working in there because she isn’t walking. Despite me patiently explaining multiple times we have been referred to buy start rite shoes by both my daughters physiotherapist and paediatric consultant at lister hospital to treat the hyper mobility in her ankles. Apparently working in jojo maman bebe also means you know better than medical consultants as she advised me I was not allowed to buy shoes for my daughter and needed to ask a doctor for “specialist shoes” instead. It’s 2023, we shouldn’t be dealing with ignorance like this anymore.

Visited JoJo Maman Bebe in Hitchin on 14th Jan, whilst the products looked lovely I was shocked that there was no level of service from the staff working there. There's no ambience when you walk in store and the staff didn't even offer a hello or anything I can help you with? Or even look up from what they were doing at the till. I work in retail myself so know a simple hello goes a long way. I'm expecting my first baby and could have done with the warm welcome or even some advice on product but I won't be spending my money within a brand that clearly doesn't care of its customers.

Male customers aren't allowed to use the toilets or baby change facilities, even if they have a baby with them who needs it. "It's our policy."
