We book a private party for an 18th birthday. Everyone had an amazing time, the staff made us feel really welcome and comfortable and all the different game modes were fantastic. Highly recomend and will be lookong into memebership for me and my boys.

Attended a Saturday morning session with my son. We both had a great day. The site and facilities are brilliant, which was matched by the Marshallβs enthusiasm and attitude. The game area is well layed out with a mix of obstacles and cover. We played with a mix of beginners, as we were and site regulars who were a great laugh and very helpful and happy to offer tips and assistance when asked. We will be attending again, thanks to the team for a great day!

First things first. Staff and Marshals were friendly, this site just wasnβt for me. Arrived at 8 and didnβt start the first game until after 11, 3 hours later! The reason, the site had more players than normal and they only allowed one marshal to deal with the hires and that same marshal also had to do the chrono. With the other marshals not being trained or trusted, this ended up with a lot of wasted time. With the late start, there was the offer of playing games later to make up the time, however this did not suit our party as we had plans in the evening and so had to be gone by 4pm. Then into the games, every single game was a form of attack and defend within a very confined area. Our group was a mix of snipers and assaulters. The snipers found it difficult to stay away from MED because the area being used was so constricted, and the assaulters were only allowed to push so far because of restrictions on pushing the opposite team back. And with the games only being of an attack and defend format, it got pretty boring pretty quick. Before lunch we must have played around 50 mins of Airsoft max. Lunch was fine, meeting the minimum expectations for a Sunday skirmish. After lunch, more attack and defend and after about 45 mins it was 15.30 and close to when we needed to leave due to other commitments. So in 8 hours we managed just over an hour and a half of Airsoft. For Β£30 as a walk-on that is not great value for money. The site is fine if you are brand new to the sport as you wouldnβt know what to expect. But for seasoned airsofters, who skirmish to play Airsoft and not sit around all day, you will be disappointed, especially with the lack of imagination when it comes to game variety. A note to the Marshall team; have chrono open at 9 and have the chrono being done at the same time as the hires are being sorted out. Bring some creativity to the game play. A little bit of capture the flag, use more of the area with various objectives when there are more players there.

Booked this for 5 teenagers. They absolutely loved every minute. Carlos and all his team were so kind patient and informative. They really went out of their way to look out for our group. The briefing of the game was great demonstrating respect and integrity. We've all booked another 3 sessions. Can't wait. Basically the boys all loved it. Think we'll be joining in soon! Thoroughly reccomend Special Ops.

Turned up for my son's first airsoft event. Didn't realise I could take part as I thought it was a junior's only day (the website could do a little work here). Turns out that I could; so after spending the morning walking around with the marshalls seeing their perspective I took part in the afternoon session, hiring a gun and mask. Time well spent and will no doubt be the cause of two more members of the airsoft community. The initial outlay is not too bad compared to similar sports, but the per event costs are remarkably good value especially when you consider the other costs. The chilli con carni lunch, which I think was homemade by Carlos the manager, was lovely. Carlos and his marshalls were very patient with us noobs, and the other participants of the day were also friendly and helpful, especially one young chap who took both my son and I under his wing. Including a valiant stand off with he and I in a guard tower out numbered, outgunned and with him out of gas for his sidearm and the enemy too close for his sniper rifle. He heroically sacrificed himself on an ammo run, leaving me to take out 4 enemies before being overrun myself, taking my assailant out as well. The sounds of rounds pinging off the canvas, wood panels and foliage give a realism and immersion paint ball and laser equivalents dream of matching. Fun times.

I booked Special Ops HQ for my boyfriend's 21st birthday for him and his friends and it went down a treat. Carlos was a great host and was very good at communicating via email to organise the whole thing. I booked a half day group session and it was great value for money and the airsoft arena was great, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to do airsoft or just an alternative to paintball in the Beds and Bucks area. Thanks Carlos for a great day.

Perhaps the worst signposted place in the world but a satnav will take you there. It's a pretty expensive day but well organised and well run. If you like running around woods shooting plastic balls at other people, this is perfect! Lunch is a little basic but just about does the job. No toilets!!
