   We booked a table at Ask Italian as we were visiting Winchester to go to the Chritmas Market. We arrived a bit early but they were able to fit us in without a problem, which was much appreciated. We had the Lasagne Grande, the King Prawn Tagliatelle and the Italian Olives, with coffee and a mini Panna Cotta to finish All cooked fresh and very nicely presented. Friendly service from all the staff, although they were very busy with the customers and the take-away business. Nice discount applied by downloading the app! Recommended.

   Went in for a meal with my wife and had our friend join us later in the evening. The food was amazing but our server was even better. Freddie took amazing care of us! The busyness of the restaurant meant that somethings were slightly delayed, absolutely no one’s fault and we were not in any rush. Freddie kept us updated and apologised a couple times for the wait (again, it wasn’t anyone’s fault, not his, nor the restaurants. It’s always nice seeing a business thrive). He was professional, friendly and accommodating. During the evening we had a group of loud women come in. We asked if we could move as it was quite overwhelming, he moved us over into a corner where it was a little more sheltered from the noise. He later came back and checked in to see if we were happy with our new table. This kind of detail was not unnoticed by us and we truly appreciated everything. Thank you for a lovely night. We will absolutely be back!

   We had our meal here after getting married. There was a large group of us but the staff were very accommodating and efficient with their service. The food was lovely and we really appreciated the effort that was taken so that everything went smoothly for us. Would highly recommend!

   The food here was amazing. We were served promptly. The only issue we had was being I checked if we could use the blue light card before entering it was confirmed that we could. Then to be told at the end when we went to pay, that actually we couldn't. We spoke to the manager and this was quickly resolved and he was so friendly about it. Will definitely return.

   Went here for my friend's 18th and we had the private room upstairs. The staff were so kind and patient, especially considering the size of our group, and the food was delicious and arrived quickly. Plenty of vegan options and the raspberry lemonade is incredible. Ordering on the website is really easy and makes it so simple to split the bill, or pay for what you ordered. Definitely recommend!

   I actually could not fault this restaurant even with the lack of staff and some menu items not being available due to supply problems. The staff clearly work hard and provide excellent service as well as make it as good as possible for you. Not to mention that the cooks work just as hard to produce such excellent food even in the heat. A truly hard working establishment that deserves praise.

   First rate experience, table for five, evening meal. Great food and wine choices delicious deserts. Waiter was dedicated to set tables, he had a great sense of humour and totally understood our needs and perfect timing. No rush or pressure. A lovely period building added to the atmosphere. Highly recommended.
