   I’ve seen the bad reviews and while I understand why some people may feel that way, that wasn’t my personal experience. The service was okay and the pizza itself was decent… nothing exceptional but good enough for what it is. I picked up my order in person rather than having it delivered and I think that made a difference. Two of the slices went cold fairly quickly and weren’t very enjoyable after that, which makes me hesitant to recommend delivery. That said, the pizza was fine when fresh, and their deals are quite affordable when dining in or picking up, which adds to the value. Overall, it’s an okay option if you’re nearby and planning to eat it right away.

   Ordered for delivery, it took one hour forty minutes to receive the food. About half an hour later it says out for delivery then delivered around ten minutes late, no sign of the pizzas. Around an hour after ordering we called to see where it was and were told it was out for delivery and would be with us soon. Half an hour later we rang again and were told that it had only just left and would arrive soon. When questioned about the fact that was what he had said earlier the man said he had misunderstood. (Not quite sure how specifically saying the driver has left the restaurant with our pizza is a misunderstanding, maybe he meant he lied?) Ten minutes later, after waiting an hour and forty minutes for something which the website said would take half an hour to arrive, we finally got our food. It was piping hot so had clearly just left the restaurant. For context the restaurant is a five minute drive from us. Food was decent once it arrived although they were pretty stingy on the toppings. Not worth the wait and we didn't appreciate the blatant lie. Given the premium price I would expect a lot more.

   The best pizza in Southampton! Fireaway is always reliable with fast delivery, and the pizza is consistently delicious. I've never had a bad meal from them. Big thanks to Jatin (the head driver) and the other driver who delivered 12 pizzas to our workplace—they were both really friendly and brought great energy. I’d happily recommend Fireaway to anyone looking for great pizza and top service!

   Order through Deliveroo. Pizza tasted like cardboard. Hardly any sauce on the base. Bland tasting and no flavours whatsoever. Can’t believe they let it out also burnt as per pictures. Wedges were stale and not crispy. The wings shockingly had soggy skin and again not crispy. Tasted as if they had been reheated Had to bin most of it unfortunately won’t be returning.

   Best pizza place in the city! Always fresh and delicious! Delivery drivers are always friendly, the price and deals are always great and orders are always correct. Won’t ever go to one of those more well known chains again!

   The pizza base was really good and tasty. But they are stingy with pizza toppings and they only have limited items for pizza toppings. It’s good only buy pizza when they have a lunch offer otherwise you can buy better pizza with same price and more toppings in other places.
