   The Italian guy who runs this place is an absolute gent and one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. That aside - the pizza he is making is so tasty - I’ve been in the Matlock / belper area for over 20 years and this is the best pan pizza by far - they are always so crispy and fresh you can tell he uses top quality ingredients and just keeps things simple and delicious.

   We went in and ordered chicken nuggets and two pizza, the pizza was absolutely fine. But when eating the chicken nuggets I soon realised it was scampi! Luckily I wasn’t allergic or anything but could of ended bad if I was!

   We ordered food from this establishment, the order was £30, when ordering we were told it would be an hour and half, which we accepted, however, when the food arrived it was cold and the pizzas over cooked and dry, when I rang I was told the manager was busy but would ring me back, sadly I have given them 2 days to do this and still no contact from them. The girl answering the phone firstly blamed the driver being stuck in traffic, when I then pointed out that this didn’t explain why the pizzas were over cooked, she then said it was because they were really busy! So when they are busy not only does their service level drop but also they burn the product? We have used them many times and to be honest I would have expected them to at least acknowledge there was an issue and either remake the order or refund us, but sadly not even a phone call. Customer service at its very worse.

   I like this place I always book a pizza to pick up and have never had any problems. People need to relax and just pick it up yourself you'll save money and your pizza will be fresher. The owner and the girls have always been super friendly and chill. Definitely agree with people saying that this is a better option than dominoes. It would be cool if they tried doing a thind crust style pizza.

   Fresh bite have one of the worst customer services I've ever seen, the main guy is super rude, screams at you down the phone, swears, hangs up if your pizza is an hour late to see where it is. They will tell you its an hour, 2 hours go by , you call them to find out and he screams at you down the phone, this genuinely happens so often its not worth it. I promise, he is a really unpleasant person

   The food here is great, the issue is the owner, the guy is so rude, aggressive and arrogant. We moved to Belper 5 years ago, I've had the service around 20 times, twice its been on time, other times, 3 to 4 hour wait, the young girl is nice but the guy and the older woman are both rude. He grabs the phone off the young girl when you call to ask where your 2 hour late pizza is and he starts swearing and bawling down the phone. Avoid, not worth it

   Always use Fresh Bites when we want pizza - better value and better taste than dominos! Tonight’s was delicious as usual! They even did me a half and half of tuna/prawns and cheesy garlic bread! Thank you as always!
