   I use to get the Japanese fried chicken rice bowl but they give you such a little amount of chicken pieces despite half of it already being batter so stopped getting it couple months back and get food elsewhere. Its really poor value at youmesushi. Its a shame

   This place is a hidden gem! The sushi is amazing and so are the hot dishes. The LA Box is my personal favourite along with the spicy Japanese fried chicken.

   P.S. the review i wrote a few months ago is no longer relevant - i bought old disgusting smelly sushi which had parts of avocado inside - almost broke my sensitive tooth. Not returning again as of 27/04 ordered on Deliveroo a bit before they closed and to my surprise the katsy curry I got was super fresh and delicious. Will be purchasing from them again.

   Strongly recommended! The sushi quality is high, one of the best in Reading area. These guys are doing an amazing job and prices fair. On top of that they offer many discounts, so it's very good value for money. My fav choices are the Sea and Sashimi platters as well as the Salmon teriyaki rice. A shout out to their customer service is due. The guys at the counter are polite and efficient, and when ordering online they make sure there is no issues with your order. Please, keep the sushi coming! :)

   Had the chicken teryaki with rice and salmon sashimi. The food itself was really nice, the teryaki sauce may be slightly on the sweeter side but everything tasted good. HOWEVER I'm not sure it can be classed as chicken teryaki when I had more batter than chicken. The slithers of chicken were just that slithers, it had batter sure but just chicken? May as well have not been there (please see photo with edemame and salmon sashimi for scale). Certainly not worth the £10 for essentially, rice, sauce and some batter. Next time I'll avoid anything that supposedly has chicken in it as I was lucky to even be able to see my chicken. Much better portions with regards to chicken elsewhere

   A great place for Sushi with a vast menu and very helpful staffs. The place is bustling with energy and ambience is great. Moreover, there’s 50% discount until the end of August!
