   Itsu is probably the most authentic non Japanese owned chain in the UK We went 2 days ago to find new products on the menu including an array of snacks. The Thai dishes are just incredible with a beautiful flavour profile that is just mouth watering. The staff have changed for the better as they are more customer related.    I absolutely love this place - there's always such a nice atmosphere. It's never too busy to enjoy the meal. The prices are really good, and the food is heavenly. I love how tasty and healthy Itsu is. I've been here at least 4 times this month.

   I had the pleasure of dining at Itsu today with my colleagues, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman who made us feel incredibly welcome. His kindness and attentiveness set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful meal. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere created by this staff member’s hospitality made our lunch truly memorable. At one point, he kindly offered me a mochi, which I thought was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. It’s little gestures like this that truly elevate the dining experience. It wasn’t just about enjoying the taste of the food; it was about the whole experience of sharing a meal with friends in such a pleasant and positive environment. A big thank you to this gentleman for his outstanding service. He truly added to the overall enjoyment of our time at Itsu. We had a great time, a great chat, and we left feeling very satisfied. I look forward to visiting again! This version includes your appreciation for the kind gesture of offering the mochi, further highlighting the exceptional service.

   Itsu never stops to deliver good food, really like to go to them, I have visited a few of their locations in the last few years, everytime I go the food is very fresh and served quickly, only took us a few minutes to order and less 10 minutes later the food was there, very good sushi and sashimi, we tried the miso soup too, please stop to any of their locations to have a quick and easy sushi experience , staff members are very friendly and the prices are great to, please check the pictures !

   The quantity of salmon on the nigiri is getting so poor that is getting transparent. See picture untouched attached as I received my box from the counter. Poor diversity, at least before they had rolls with wasabi Mayo. Salmon and tuna is not feeling that fresh either.

   Nice, clean restaurant but the food was lacking flavour and was pulled out of the refrigerator. We had sushi and sashimi and it just wasn't fresh and tasty. The Edamame were served out of the pods which was odd and trickier to eat.

   Fresh tasty sushi. Great chicken broth bowls (always spill it down my top every time I eat it, it's impossible not to spill down your top but good). I've been here a couple times to pick up a takeaway. Makes a nice change from burgers and super deep fried chicken. It's 5 minutes walk away from where I live so total bonus. Recommend the food and the venue. Now I've written this I want more sushi ...

   I'm a bit disappointed. That was my first time and after entering, nobody even said Hi or go home, clearly no body cares about it. After we ordered we seat and waited for the meal. Table wasn't the clearest... Wasn't great but also wasn't terrible... When was my turn to pick up the order i realized that the part of the food is already packed and sealed, which means it wasn't prepared fresh for me. I expect, that my soup will be served like a soup in a bowl... It was in the cup. Dumplings was soo thin and soft that they ripped out stright away... Additionally the staff was dumped empty bottle next to us like a crazy... They break one of another ... And that noise... They simply didn't care... I'm just disappointed... Thats it... That was my last time in this place.

   Loved here spent nice time with family..unfortunately I was having a £5 voucher but left it home.. But dats okay.... Amazing food beautiful ambience and lovely staff... Give it a try at itsu at Reading gate
