   Have been using Happy House for years and usually been "happy" with them. But had to cancel our order today after the original hour and 15 minutes quoted delivery time stretched to 2 hours 15 minutes. Chased it, but they were not answering the phone so had to contact the online chat. Our last few orders have not been up to standard either. Don't bother ordering from them

   Ordered from here many times, never had a problem until tonight. Ordered off food hub at 18:40 with a delivery time of 20:00, at 20:30 I called them to chase delivery to be told it was on its way and would be 15 minutes. I called again at 20:55 to be told it was on its way. Once I requested a partial refund I was met with a very short and stubborn phone manner and they would call the delivery driver to find out where it was and call me back. Driver arrived at 21:05 with a careless attitude, at 21:30 I’m still waiting a call back regarding a refund for the 2 and half hours delivery. Food was hot and tasty as usual but service was appalling tonight

   Ordered for delivery and both dishes tasted like they had been reheated and not fresh. The beef was very think and the curry sauce very mild. Cantonese style chicken was like chicken nuggets with with a very think sweet and sour sauce on. Won’t be going again

   In all four of the meat dishes we chose, the meat was fatty, gristly, chewy & somehow slimy at the same time, way more fat than meat. We usually use a different chinese takeaway but it was closed so we hoped this would be good, it wasnt half as good. We ordered dishes the same as what we’d normally order, & these didnt even come close. I always order duck & its fatty but crispy, this felt almost boiled, the fat was wet & disgusting. Awful food. Spent £40 what a waste of money. Really disappointed, & wont be back

   Had many takeaways from here and always been excellent but latest one has really made me think about using somewhere else. Ordered at 6.05pm and took until 8.40pm to arrive and was only just lukewarm but have to say it was nice. I phoned at 7.40 and was told it would be only 20 minutes but was another hour, never waited so long for food delivery and no apology from the driver, in fact he barely spoke 2 words.

   Absolutely awful from start to finish. Delivery was 2 hours 15 minutes was told around one hour. Food was tasteless probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. AVOID !!!!

   Please excuse the one star!!! It should be minus affinity!!! But you have to give one!!! I’ve been using this restaurant now for a couple of years. The service has always been extremely bad with meals being late ALL the time. Once again we ordered tonight! Once again we was feed lots of lies about the delivery! The lady who answered the phone said it was nothing to do with her! Shocking! You would try your best to help your customers! I will never grace this restaurant with my money again. Diabolical service, hours late, never an apology, always rude! The service has always been bad but over the years it’s got worse. The foods also gone downhill. My chicken was like rubber!!! Do yourself a favour and look for another Chinese restaurant, it’s not worth the stress it causes. Look for another place like us. If they’re that busy they don’t need your order anyway! Well that’s how they make you feel!!!!!!!!

   Really tasty and a huge amount of meat-free options. I think perhaps under new management as food as really tasty and the delivery was quick. Recommend the vegan duck wraps!!!
