   With the exception of one lad who completely blanked me when I asked for help, I was lucky then to have met Pavani (Lily) as she was absolutely delightful, caring and the help she gave me was outstanding. If only there were more Pavani’s in every store offering outstanding customer service it would be great. I am more likely now to shop at this Tesco when in Derby. Also if Pavani’s parents reading this you should be very proud because you have brought her up with much kindness. Also to thank the two Tesco workers who were standing outside who gave me advice re purchasing a wider bag for life as easier to carry. Great store and staff apart from one!

   had the pleasure yesterday of going in this store first time for a few years. first thing you are confronted with is a barrier the security guard has to let you through. like they have in cattle pens. and totally gobsmacked by the prices, cheaper to shop at Waitrose. then my card wouldn't work at checkout. when the assistant finally arrived she said "are you sure you have enough money in your bank" so I walked out and left my shopping. horrible experience treating your customers like cattle. hope you enjoyed putting all my shopping back.

   I’d like to complain about this store because the staff are extremely rude. I’m not happy with the way they treat customers and I feel someone needs to review the staff in the store. Reading the reviews it seems there’s a common theme of them being miserable. I came to collect a click and collect parcel with a proof of delivery picture from the courier. The girl told me it wasn’t on the system so I asked if she didn’t mind just checking the parcels in front me as this was delivered 2 days ago so it should be here. She was rude and did not want to check the parcels and I asked her if I can have someone else to help me if she wasn’t willing to simply check. she responded saying “what do you want me to do about it” rolling her eyes and walked off as someone else came to help and continued to discuss me with another colleague in front of me. I wanted to simply ensure my parcel was amongst the other parcels and the other guy came and checked but still concluded it wasn’t. They were not thorough and were rude, I asked if I could speak to a manger and he said I am the manger last time I checked. The place is not well run, even if it was a mistake of the courier the attitude was unacceptable and unnecessary. I don’t need to come into a store feeling bad tensions and just not being able to simply be served properly. I’ve never seen anything like it and would’ve wanted to report this further as the people who work there really just don’t know anything about customer service and it’s a real shame.

   I shopped at the Derby City CentreTesco today and went to self checkout were a wonderful young girl checked out my groceries, her customer service was wonderful, I'm a pensioner and have mobility issues....Great Employee, many thanks !

   The black guy on the self check outs needs to fix his attitude. I know it's 7am but your unsatisfaction with your job is not the customers problem. Either get a better attitude or a different job. Fool.

   Probably about 20 video screens. Two per aisle. Security guard told ne to stop taking photos of them. Kinda ironic. The person in charge of the tesco "make everyone feel watched policy probably should have random people insult h on the street"

   A great shop but disappointed that the self service tills are card only especially when all the rest of the tills are closed and there's only one person at customer service and you have to wait 20 mins to be served. If the self service tills were to be open to cash and card customers I would change my review and Rating. 3 Out Of 5 Stars.
