   Ordered a takeaway for collection, got home and the chicken tikka main was smaller than the chicken tikka starter we’d ordered on a previous visit, called to check it was a main that we received and they said it was, no apology or explanation about small portion just hung up the phone, mint sauce was watery and flavourless, onion bahji were tasteless and chicken korma bland no coconut taste at all. Extremely disappointed, lack of quality taste and service considering restaurant was empty when I collected

   I’ve being coming to the Chon Chola for longer than I care to remember (possibly from as early as 1986). This place serves up a great Indian meal and is highly recommended. The food is of a consistently good quality and well priced.

   Can't give the food any stars as they refused to deliver to us. We live in the new development next to Peter Nash, which is basically opposite this take away. Their reason for refusing delivery was that our post code doesn't come up on Google Maps, as we're in a new build. We're celebrating and as we're at home with 3 small children decided to have a curry when they went to bed! We went to Spice Village on Barnes Lane in the end who have always provided fantastic service and food, when they were unable to locate my address previously they called me and asked for directions, which are very simple! And is also what all other delivery drivers do! Very disappointed and won't be attempting to order there again. He was very rude, abrupt and obviously didn't care for our custom.

   Just had a Jalfazi delivered, lifting the container from the bag it felt very light, upon opening it was literally filled just under halfway, not even a child size portion, I feel as if I have been ripped off, I will definitely not be ordering from this place again... Less than half full, absolutely shocking.

   Lamb tikka Balti? Actually tasted like tinned curry! Was supposed to be lamb tikka but was clearly mutton and very poor quality. Rice and naan was acceptable but as it took 90 minutes to deliver it was all cold. Good service from Uber eats and full refund given. Strongly advise you try elsewhere!

   I ordered a takeaway for the first and last time. Prawn puri - loads of shell still on the prawns. Chicken Dansak - nothing like a dansak, it was like a korma with a few lentils thrown in, the consistency of baby food! Really poor, I can NOT recommend this Indian.

   I'm not one to leave negative reviews but was very unimpressed - very slow service, group of 8 and 4 ended up very unwell after eating here. Waited an hour and a half for the main meal to be served to which two of the dishes were not ours. Waiters did not seem to be interested in serving us and were altogether unhelpful.
