Kung Po chicken is one of the best I've ever had. Very friendly efficient service, there is a reason they have been here for decades!
Food was rock hard and impossible to chew because it was old and stale, who knows what the hygiene is like!!,no beef in crispy shredded beef and the taste was so bland.
Love the salt and pepper chicken balls from here! Great range of food available, including dim sum which isn't at every Chinese takeaway
Quality and quantity. Very good value for money. Fresh and very tasty. Definitely recommend and will order again.
We won't be ordering from here again. Vegetarian spring rolls had chicken inside, chips were undercooked, Vegetable Singapore noodles came without any vegetables, the chicken chow mein was watery... I strongly advise any potential customers to look elsewhere.
Ordered crispy duck and not crispy but soggy and fatty. Curry had smell to it so couldn't eat it. Really poor quality
Had a takeaway on Saturday 10th Dec 2022. Canton House used to be so good but this meal was awful. Pricey. Half-filled cartons. I had Kung Po chicken, usually crispy in a tasty sauce. This was floating in soy with lots of undercooked onions and the chicken was chewy and slimy. Yuk. Only a couple of cashew nuts.
Ordered through just eat. Never again. So hard to get a refund. Food was stale, the noodles stank as the bamboo shoots were gone off. Was sick the next day. Had to bin most of the order. Used to be good but not now. Won’t be ordering again.
Have been using this Chinese for over 25 years. And would recommend it to anyone. Excellent food , fast friendly staff.and there spare ribs are to die for. Updated 16-03-2019. This takeaway has recently been taken over, the original owners having retired. The new owners whilst being very friendly are nothing to do with the original owners and unfortunately the quality has suffered. It's still ok but not as good.
