Just ordered food from Catch n fry...had no idea where it was...but now realise its Ashvale...however not important as the food was spectacular!!...so so freshly made..delicious...and delivery was super quick..also the no min. Order was welcomed for 1 person orders....well done
Not the best chippy around by a long shot, and not the cheapest easier.
Ordered 2 Jumbo Haddock Suppers was awful.Fish was tasteless and chips were reheated and stone cold.Had to bin.Very disappointed
Food is I am not sure average but close enough to give 3 stars as opposed to 2 stars. Young man's good customer service probably helped. Why can't this place do better food? Years now and no better.
Just picked up fish supper and macaroni pie , I think the oil needs changed fish dark and greasy and macaroni pie looks as it has been reheated a few times, I use chipper at least once a week ,think that's the last time .will use jesmond instead .
This takeaway has really gone downhill. 2 bad meals in a row. First, fish was over cooked and so hard half of it was inedible, second jumbo sausage was luke warm with soggy batter. Really not good
After a large bought of moving stuff, headed to Ashvale and had some scoff. I ate fishcakes and chips mad my friend had a haggis and chips. All was earen, the food was superb, chips were very dry and crispy. Yumm.
Delicious fish, chips and the best buttered I've ever had. Mushrooms and soup was excellent too. I'll come back for sure!
