   We had a rare date night at Hamlet in Wokingham and were blown away. From the moment we walked in we were looked after so well. The team were friendly and attentive, and Rob the owner brought out our food himself, explained the sharing plates, and even surprised us with two extra dishes to try. Such a thoughtful gesture and a brilliant experience. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Loved it. Five stars. Highly recommended.

   What a gem of a place. I would go here all the time if I lived closer, the locals are so lucky to have this on their doorstep. A much bigger menu than the last time I went with plenty of choice and a great variety of dishes to suit every craving! Highly recommend the Korean fried chicken and salmon lox! Finishing off with the french toast of course. Have done the chef’s table before which was such a special experience and hopefully will be able to come back again very soon to try it again. Rob & his team have something seriously special here and I just wish I lived closer.

   Always amazing. Everything on the menu is exactly as good as you want it to be; fresh, flavourful, and consistently satisfying. From classic comfort dishes or something more refined, they always deliver. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a slow morning or a casual lunch. On the days they’re open for dinner, it’s a real treat to wind down with cozy vibes and tasty plates or the chefs table experience for a special treat! It’s fine dining quality without the ridiculous prices or stuffy atmosphere!

   We had an amazing chef’s table experience in Hamlet last Thursday! All 7 courses were delicious, we had a glass of champagne as a welcome drink, an artisan coffee at the end and a breakfast box for the following morning! That’s a lovely surprise (the breakfast box)! We will be back for more. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff of Hamlet.

   I went to Hamlet for dinner a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. The restaurant is very modern looking, the staff are welcoming and the food quality is excellent. The menu has a tapas feel to it as you need to order a few dishes that you can then share with your table. They've done their best to get most of their products from local farms and businesses which I also liked. The prices were really reasonable considering the dishes were worthy of a fancy gastro restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the Halibut ceviche and the truffle and parmesan fries. I will definitely come back!
