This is a decent pub with pool table & darts. Mainly locals in here but friendly. The pub is comfy and well lit, the staff are friendly & the beer is good value (£4.50 for a Doombar). Decent promotions e.g. free pool on Wednesdays etc.

Called in to play in a pool match ordered a pint then found out I should have been in the Bull and Chequers drank beer and left 2 weeks later a fine for parking in the car park. If this is how they treat there customers I will not be going in there again No wonder the pub was empty
Worst pub in Woodley. No decent beer. Awful. PARKING RIP OFF. No warning to register your vehicle before ordering. Recommend keeping a receipt to avoid a fine. Even just for 1 beer. I got a £100 fine. When I challenged them they said sorry but nothing to they can do. AVOID!!!
