This is a lovely friendly environment and the Turkish food is beautiful, we had the homemade dips. Very good prices with a lot of food.
Dropped in for a lunchtime pint today, we just had a couple pints and snacks this time, but having visited, we will definitely be back to try the kebabs next time. Super welcoming staff and the locals were very friendly too. If you have been thinking about dropping in, just do it, it's a great honest old school pub. With so many pubs closing we should be supporting places like this.
I’ve started using the Shepherds House due to the proximity to the pet shop where I have my dog groomed. It’s the perfect place to spend an hour while she’s being pampered. Now that the kitchen is back in operation, I’ve started to come here for an alternative Sunday lunch of the delightful sheps doner kebab.
Ah man what can I say really tasty food they have all types of kebabs but I went for the Kebabce. It was really good. They also have sky sports, a pool table and free darts also. Next time i'll go for the doner kebab. Regulars kept going on about it.
Excellent atmosphere inside and out, great service, good menu. Very pleased to have such a good pub as our local.

A bit tired and in need of care. Not very clean or tidy. I'd be afraid to order food here. Loads of lights off and the guy serving drinks kept touching his nose and mouth.
