On the plus side it's by the canal, sadly it is a poor pub, very limited drinks selection, not really worth the walk from town.
Extremely friendly pub . Traditional pub as you walk in but the terrace bar is like being on holiday as you will see from the picture, good drinks with a good cocktail machine . Highly recommend this pub
I feel so sorry for you guys for hosting pej’s party for back to love, please watch this guy, he is nearly ruined my restaurant bar, if he doesn’t get what he wants, he will destroy your business, he pretends sell ticket but he sell huge amount drugs, please check all the media regarding island bar and restaurant and try to what he tried for me, please don’t trust what he offers you, at the end you loose not him
Lovely people with an amazing riverside seating. We had a nice walk along the river Kennet The landlord and landlady were very welcoming and we had a great time!
Absolutely fantastic pub, what they have done in the beer garden is out of this world. I've only been in the area for 1 week & in that time with a few visits it already feels like my local. All the staff are friendly and hardworking. I love it. Shame the rating only goes up to 5 as it deserves a lot more than that.
First time to visit the local pub after covid... Nice place but... It was amazing even if the beer selection wasn't super and the food wasn't amazing! The feeling was amazing! I will come back soon (tomorrow)
What a turn around the new owners have done for this place. So friendly and helpful and a nice spot for a cold beer on a hot day by the river. It used to be a pub I walked past. Now I can't walk past without going in!
