Right I get that it's budget meal but this is horrible. The mushrooms were barely defrosted. Just cold and no tatse at all. The bacon was some chewy dog treats or something. Ok I get that it's vegan but if it's this bad they shouldn't be on the menu.
Getting me to pay the SAME price for HALF the food? What has happened. The food used to be so good, and the prices were worth it. But this… is ABYSMAL. And drink prices have gone up too? What is this? the only good day to come is a thursday for the quiz and karaoke. Other than that, don’t bother.

Daughter held her 49th birthday party here recently. It was a great venue to have a family ceilidh.

Student bar open to the public for some events. Cheap drink prices and friendly staff
If I could rate 0 I would. It’s one thing to waste money on food that you never get, especially as a student. But it’s another thing to be gaslighted by a supervisor saying you left the table to the point where you have a panic attack. Heaven forbid a member of staff delivered to the wrong table. I won’t come here again after the treatment I received. No one should be driven to the point where it takes them half an hour to calm down from crying, hyperventilating and shaking. I hope someone learns how to treat a customer as an actual human being
Awful. Waited 50 mins for food, after asking twice and being told twice it will be ‘10 more minutes’ we asked for our money back. There were only three tables with food orders and we ordered loaded fries - so not complicated!
The events and prices are great, but you can never shake off the fact that (most of) the staff make no effort to hide that they hate the job and want to take it out on you, a lot of the time if you ask a genuine question or try to make chat they'll treat you as if they hate you. I'm honestly not convinced the staff don't just hate every customer because they really do act that way. It's a huge shame tbh.
