Used to be the best bar on Campus. There is just no point coming here when it's busy as you won't find a seat. Go to Mojos instead, it's cheaper there
The best bar on campus for students without a doubt. Always busy on Weds/Fri/Sat, good selection of drinks and good prices, lots of food options and an easy walk to union and quick on the bus for Friar street.

Came here with my friend who is at uni of reading for her birthday. The drink was pure apple juice (was supposed to be a cocktail) my friend went to the bar and questioned the alcohol content we were told it was a double shot, however there was absolutely no alcohol in it as I was completely sober. My friend and I were in the toilet discussing this, a member of staff who was about 5ft tall brunette with plaits in her hair was very extremely rude to my friend and I, we were told to not come back if we were discussing this issue. A bouncer then came over approximately 1 minute later telling my other friend to ‘stop vaping’ however she was not vaping at all she pulled it out her pocket and had it in her hand. Very inappropriate and disrespectful to be honest disgusting behaviour and I don’t approve of this.
Dead cheap but they have really weirdly loud music, as if they're treating it like union. Great on sports event days because they show it on the massive projectors. Would be 5★ if not for the music
The price per Pint i think in this area, really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and ambient lights to set the mood.
Friendly bar staff, no issues in this department. Pizza staff are a bit clueless (probably due to high staff turnover?) - they also can't cook very well, minimal cheese, pizzas are never sliced, toppings are almost non-existent, and the pizzas always come out black
