Absolutely fantastic food and service.
Lamb Sagfrizee was beatifully flavoured, with crisp fresh vegetables, just the right chilli heat, and soft tender meat. Garlic naan was very nicely made, and the pickle tray served with the poppadoms before was also excellent - a nice refreshing twist on the onion salad often encountered elsewhere, and a very nice lime pickle.
Service very warm, friendly, and brilliantly judged - attentive but not overly.
Definitely one of my best random finds on my travels.

We ordered a selection of dishes from this brand-new restaurant for takeaway, and it was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish arrived fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of authentic flavour. Highlights included the Mixed Kebab Starter and King Prawn Butterfly, which were cooked to perfection, while the Tandoori Lamb and Tandoori King Prawn delivered that signature smoky tenderness. The Badam Pasanda Lamb, rich with yoghurt, butter, dry fruits, and almonds, was absolutely indulgent, and the King Prawn Goa alongside the Jhal Saag Roshni stood out for their depth of flavour and spice.
The vegetarian dishes were equally impressive: the Saag Paneer was creamy and well-balanced, and the Garlic Naan (along with the Jessori and Rajab variations) was some of the best we’ve had—soft, flavourful, and freshly baked. Classic accompaniments like lime pickle, chutneys, and onion salad completed the meal beautifully.
On top of the exceptional food, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, personally recommending signature dishes that made our order truly special. Even though it was a takeaway, the care and attention to detail came through in every bite.
Without doubt, this is the best food in town we’ve experienced—restaurant-quality delivered to the doorstep. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be ordering again.

Just had a chicken tikka masala with Pilau rice, after looking at the food pictures and reading reviews on just eat, I thought food looked authentic and amazing reviews were positive so I ordered and collected… omg it was bloody awful tikka masala tasted as if it was cooked with half a bag of sugar!!! Completely inedible, food looked absolutely nothing like the pictures and as for the good reviews I can honestly say I am bewildered there must be another restaurant with the same name as I can’t believe anyone with even a single taste bud would find it palatable

Updated 17/12/21: Tried again and very different experience, food arrived when told it would, very hot and absolutely delicious.
2 hours and still no delivery!! Called twice to be told food ready waiting for a driver?? Would surely be cold be time delivered anyway. Such a shame as usually good service
UPDATE: Following a personal call from the owner today I have edited the review, such a nice gesture to call us and apologise, as mentioned usually really good service. Has not put us off using them again. Thank you for the call, it does make a difference
