   A bit of a mixed bag, location and reception staff, great as in most IHG.... Alas bar staff, let's say getting there, very slow often taking 6 7 or longer to get served.. Rooms and corridors clean, and best of all a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fine, toaster... Well...

   OMG what a disaster. Firstly a 10 minute wait to get a seat in a half empty room. Then.......and here we go!!!! Noooooo sausages had to wait Milk had to wait Bread had to wait Cups had to wait Teaspoons had to wait Salt had to wait We ordered from the "made to order menu" and yep wanted and waited. Tried again for bread and had to wait. And the toilet never did get opened so went to the toby up the road. Should of just gone there instead. What a shower of 5h1t

   Although the food was delicious i had gone there for an afternoon tea about a year ago and in my clotted cream i found chunks of plastic. We were promised a free return but had never gotten an email back from them to say when we could go in for the free afternoon tea.

   Nice hotel restaurant in Crowne Plaza with a little bit of a view of the Thames River. Friendly and quick staff and I was served quickly. I had the sea bass but it was a thin fillet and not a lot of food for I think 23 pounds. Meal was decent but not great. Separately I had the breakfast buffet which was 9 pounds if you purchased it with your room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with excellent ham, large sausages, blood sausages, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Highly recommended the breakfast buffet.

   Good enough if you need an easy, quick hotel dinner. However only walking distance away in Caversham are some great restaurants, if you have the time I'd recommend venturing out in town instead
