Hidden gem. The food is delicious and the portions very generous, especially for that price!! The waiter placed our order as soon as we sat down and food arrived within minutes! Lastly the atmosphere is nice and cozy.
Food is fantastic, site still under renovation as it was the food of the pub, but now it’s the restaurant only. Look beyond the decor and the food is very good, the momos, both fried and steams are a highlight. The chow mein noodles are crispy and have good spice level without being too overpowering. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Parking is restrictive as there is only 4 spaces outside directly, there are other spaces that are private! Beware! We parked at the top of the road outside the school for free (2hrs) and it’s a 3min walk.
The loveliest staff and tastiest momos (dumplings). The food is perfect - and amazing value - especially if you love spicy food.
Great staff, good beer, but mediocre food. I have to admit I liked the taste if the chilli chicken and the dumplings. I just didnt understand the dry carbs on the side. It was riceflakes and something like instant noodles. Usually I would mix everything up and the dry combined with the moisture would give a decent mixture, but there was not enough sauce. Also the carrot and tomato look a little sad ;(

Went there for some chilli momos, very nice yet a little bit hot for me! Prices for drinks are reasonable, especially for the Reading area (at the time of writing this review, under £4 for a Stella), with a pool table if that's your thing - though as I found, good luck getting on it when the big group of regulars turn up. The barmaid was always friendly and helpful too. Update: Review updated upon my return as the one negative thing I observed has actually been changed. Its nice to see that the management actively read reviews/take notice of feedback.
Absolutely amazing. Without a doubt one of the best places to eat in Reading. You really cannot go wrong with any of the selection but I highly recommend the chilli chicken as a must
